I installed two of these in existing ceiling fixtures in under ten minutes, and half that time was getting out my ladder and tools. I'm using one of them on a dimmer switch and it works flawlessly, no flicker at all. The only improvement I can see is to put the color temperature setting on the outside - you actually have to take the light down from the mounting ring to set the color temperature, which is located on the inside recessed portion where the wiring comes out. This 4-pack of ECOELER Black Slim LED Ceiling Lights is an excellent purchase for updating multiple rooms, and the result is a clean, modern look. The 5 CCT selectable feature is fantastic, allowing us to perfectly match the color temperature (from soft white to daylight) in the kitchen, laundry room, and bedrooms—a huge plus for consistent lighting throughout the house. At 24W and 1800 Lm, they are incredibly bright and provide outstanding illumination, while the slim, surface-mount design keeps them unobtrusive. I am very happy with the final appearance and performance, but the installation process could be significantly improved, which leads to the 4-star rating. While the lights are lightweight, mounting them proved to be a bit fiddly. The mounting bracket and the connection points felt somewhat cheap, and lining up the screw holes for the final attachment to the ceiling was an awkward job, especially when dealing with the wires in the tight space. Once they are successfully installed, though, they look amazing and perform flawlessly. This is a great, affordable way to upgrade to modern LED lighting, but be prepared for a small amount of frustration during the mounting phase. Read more
