This works WAY better than my oil-radiator!

Richard ToyDecember 13, 2025

it's a nice little infrared heater. I only got the 250 watt model because I wasn't sure that these panels would even get warm enough to make a difference, but it nicely takes off the chill from my small bedroom at night and gets it up to 65 from 50 (-it's a badly insulated mobile home from the 90's). It takes about an hour, so I turn it on before bedtime. I like that the thermostat is separate, and lights up green when it's on. I've only had it a week and haven't mounted it yet, but have it propped up off the floor a few inches away from the drywall. It makes no noise and is a lot heavier than it looks for its size, and it is very sturdy which means it will last. -This panel is WAY more efficient than the 'oil radiator' I was using! It was 600 watts on it's lowest setting. So far honestly, it keeps the bedroom just as warm if not warmer for half the watts (again, if you turn it on ahead of time). Very happy and will order another one soon. Read more

Good for a small space...

D. B. DornburgNovember 14, 2025

This is my second purchased unit. The first one I bought in the Fall of 2021 and it lasted till the end of last winter. (2024) I installed it in my small apartment bathroom and ran it only during the winter months (Nov-March), attached to the included thermostat plug. It did a good job keeping the bathroom warm (not hot) and the pipes in the walls from freezing. (the room is at the back of the house and only gets little heat from the forced-hot-air furnace in the basement) The switch on the unit itself eventually shorted out last early Spring and the panel began to show cracks in it. For the price, I figured I got my monies worth over three years and decided to recently purchase a replacement. Read more

Excellent space heater!

Jackpot GringoDecember 14, 2025

What you were paying for here is some creative and efficient technology. My first panel arrived, broken by the carrier, but I quickly got a replacement and got it mounted up in a 12 x 16 room which is just under 200 ft.² it is a bit overkill for the size room, but I wanted to warm it quickly as it is on a crawlspace and faces an outside wall. Overall, I am impressed with the heater panel itself. I mounted it approximately 4 inches off the floor, so it would pick up the majority of the cold air at the floor level. The template in foil reflective material that they supply for on the wall were spot on size wise. Installation only took about 15 minutes total and everything fit as it should. It is 100% silent as I use this in our TV room and don't want the noise of a fan, this unit has no noise at all. It can also be painted to match your walls so it blends right in which is a nice touch If there was anything to complain about, it might be the mechanical thermostat that is something out of the 70s. I ended up purchasing a remote digital thermostat the plugs into the wall and then you can mount the display panel elsewhere and this works very well for this unit. I will likely be purchasing another one for my bedroom as I have a 2100 square-foot house with a dual zone HVAC system in this way, there is no need to keep the thermostat up for just the bedrooms at night. Quiet, effective, efficient.

RobertWDecember 18, 2025

Excellent! I have been using a small 1500 Watt space heater which was highly rated. I purchased this a couple months ago - super easy to install (you do need to be mindful in following the instructions and template) - the heater is silent (huge for me) and makes the whole room feel consistently comfortable vs the space heater which was only comfortable when you were sitting in front of it. Highly recommended. Read more

Decent heater.

Mr. R. S. ThomasNovember 5, 2025

I bought a heater similar to this one previously. My mud room is not air conditioned and the laundry water pipes run through the wall there and have cracked before. I used it with a small digital thermostat to ensure the temperature near the pipes was at least 5C. Unfortunately, after a few years of use, the front of the heater cracked and one of the heater wires was showing through. Although it still worked, this was obviously unsafe. I am pleased to see that this heater is an "UPDATED CRACK RESISTANT VERSION" so hopefully, it will last much better. The heater itself is made of a ceramic material that feels like unglazed fired terracotta or clay. It is low power (the one I have is 400W) and so may not be suitable for properly heating large spaces but is ideal for taking the chill off of smaller spaces. It does not blow air so is quite quiet and does not get hot. A thermal image (see picture) of the heater in use in a room at around 70F shows the hottest part at 112F which is a little hot to the touch but from what I can tell, it typically not enough to hurt from short-term contact. (Although the temperature is not high, it could build up if the heater is covered so be sure not to do that). The heater comes with hardware for wall mounting and a self-adhesive reflective film for placing behind the heater. The ability to have the heater freestanding in the room might have been a nice option but perhaps the fragile nature precluded that as a reasonable option. The thermostat is a separate item, not integrated into the heater which is a bit of a shame but it seems to work well, being accurate to within a few degrees. I am likely to use the older digital thermostat I was using though as it had more options. Read more
