This is a spectacular piece of technology. I hate using jumper cables they are hard to handle and require two people. Using them at night is difficult. This product is a perfect tool and that it has a light that lights up the battery so you can see the post and you can hook the connectors and it gives you a green light which you can go back to the car seat and start the car without any rush or hurry. My Lexus 350RX battery is new, but I seldom use the car. I have tried 2 different trickle chargers, but nothing compares to this jump starter! I used it for the 1st time this week. Car needed to be moved and It was dead. This portable charger got it running fast! Will say the battery doesn’t last very long, but enough for a good few jumps. Definitely buy this if you’re in need of a Portable Car Starter or just to have for emergencies! Read more
Works - that's the most important bit. And it holds enough of a charge that you can reuse it multiple times, so if you're stuck somewhere and can't recharge it but can't get to a mechanic for a few days you're still okay. What impressed me the most was that I expected the first thing after getting it I would have to charge it up. But it actually came already charged! Right or the box it was at 83% so (if I'd needed to) I could've taken it from the delivery guy and charged my car right then. So I plugged it in anyway and it took about 45 minutes to charge up to full 100%. Now about a week later it still shows 100, so it holds a charge fine. Only negative is the clamps that come with it only have about a six inch cord. Something as little longer would have been better. It still works with my car to connect to the battery terminals, but it's kind of a difficult fit. If I wanted to connect the ground clamp to the engine block instead of the terminal, I couldn't do it. Another eight inches or even a foot would have been better. Still, over all, as good buy.
