Really wish I could give 5 stars as the fit, weight and stretch of fabric, and style is just what I hoped for. The downside is the offensive, musty smell of the garment. It was noticeable immediately upon opening package. After hanging to air out, it was still there and still very obvious. So, washed with regular detergent. Wore once to outdoor event…still there. Washed with odor release additive…still there. Should I return? It is a bit of a hassle where I live, so will give them one more try with vinegar and baking soda. Tried to find a link to reach out to seller, but could not find one, so if you read this review, seller, would welcome a message to help me with this issue! UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and has been very responsive with efforts to make this right. Must say, they went above and beyond to address my concern, sending a replacement pair, as well as a second pair in a different color. (Also offered refund, but I was hopeful replacement would be good since it is hard to find jeans that fit well and I these met that challenge). The odor that was over powering in the first pair was markedly diminished in the replacement. Although still slightly present, I am assuming it is due to chemicals commonly used in fabrication of blue jeans, exacerbated by the tightly sealed plastic packaging that they arrive in, and that it will be gone after washing. Of note, the army green pair has no odor, so that leads me to believe that my assumption that the jean fabric is the cause is right …but I am still hopeful the new pair will work. I love these barrel at cargo pants! The fit is incredibly flattering and the army green color is perfect, especially in the fall. The pants do you have a decent amount of stretch and an elastic size waistband as well as a functional zipper and button closure. I like that the barrel is a bit more subtle and subdued rather than and over the top barrel that can make you look a bit clownish. I have worn and washed these pants several times as well as my teenage daughter who loves them probably even more than I do. I have washed these in warm water as well as cold and stuck them in the dryer as well as hung them to dry and no matter what I do, they are good as new after each wash. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage after drying which is a plus because I’m 5’9”. Because of the amount of stretch in these pants, I do recommend taking your normal size and you will still have a nice loose fit. Also, because of the elastic in the waistband, you can wear these higher on the waist as I am in my picture or pull them down lower for a more low rise fit. Read more

These cargo barrel jeans are very trendy and extremely comfortable. The high waist is flattering, and the wide-leg, baggy style is very relaxed. The "Khaki" color is a bit darker in person and has slight orange tones. I think the fit is comfortable..but the legs are wider than pictured. The material is a bit stiff. I haven't washed these yet, but perhaps they will soften up in the wash. I do think they run true to size. I usually wear Small and the Small is a good fit for me! Love there is elastic at the back waist for comfort and flexibility. Read more
