Took her a minute to figure out how to use it, but this bottle is perfect. Encourages her to drink a lot more water (the magic effect of straws, apparently), and she loves talking about the butterflies ("FUH-FIES"). It is mostly leak proof, but I do make sure it is upright most of the time. I say mostly leak proof because my kid has found some way to suck water up into the top of the straw in the mouthpiece, but doesn't drink it. So that small amount of water spills out occasionally. I first bought a Camelback Eddy in the 1L version for a sailing trip in Antarctica. It worked well. Back home, I decided that a smaller version would be more practical for daily use. I bought the 40ml version (a 50ml seemingly not being available) and use it around the house, next to my bed when I go to sleep, hiking in the mountains, and in my study. I find the bottle easy to use, the drinking system with the straw to work perfectly and that it can lock so simply is the critical bonus. You don't have to worry about the bottle falling over and spilling. I have used many different drinking bottles over the years and for me, this is the best. They should make a 50ml version. My daughter absolutely loves this cup. She takes it to daycare and back home every single day. This thing has been thrown, stepped on, slammed in the door, and anything else a 2 year old can do to it. I'm a CamelBak fan for life given the durability of this thing. Add to it the fact that it's really attractive, this is the single best spill proof cup for toddlers/young kids I could find. It's so good, I bought one in stainless steel that's equally amazing. My toddler loves her new water bottle! I got it for her for when she goes back to daycare and she is very proud of it. No leaks so far, she uses it at home almost everyday and after a few days has figured out how to push the mouthpiece closed and open it again. Cute design, seems durable. Read more

Super cute! Only issues we’ve had is: 1) I wish it kept my daughters water colder (that’s what you get for just buying a plastic bottle though, so I ended up buying a stainless steel one as well). 2) Sometimes the straw randomly comes detached and my daughter gets frustrated because she’s sucking and not getting any water. Before I give it to her I just do a “test suck” to make sure it’s attached and if not I just take the lid off and reattach the straw. Honestly though it doesn’t happen very often though so I would still recommended this cup if it’s what you’re looking for! What I do love: 1) I love how adorable the colors and prints are! 2) And it’s nice and light so my 14 mo daughter can hold it 3) easily fits in side pockets of diaper bag and definitely won’t spill - totally leak proof, even when the straw isn’t closed! 4) my daughter can easily carry it around using the loop handle on top Read more

My son loves these water bottles! They are easy for him to hold and open and close. They are easy to take apart to clean and have several different designs to choose from. It has let a little bit of water out here and there but not a lot and to me it wasn’t a huge deal as my son only drinks water out of these. Read more

Our toddler loves her Camelbak bottle... She learned to drink from it before her sippy cup. I think because she sees her parents using Camelbal Eddy's, that's why it caught on so quickly. So far our experience has been it's more leak proof than sippy cups and bottles. It's fairly easy to clean using our regular Camelbak bottle brushes. Read more
