The Edifier G1000 II are very high quality speakers for the price. It doesn't get distorted at full volume, the base is very punchy for desk speakers, and the sound is clear. I love the look of them especially compared to the last gen ones. There's 3 different forms on connection, which gives you many different options. I was looking for small, inexpensive computer speakers and settled on these. They look good, sound decent for the price, so Im satisfied. As long as you don't expect $200 speaker quality, I think you would be happy with these. Only tiny gripe is the buttons on the main speaker dont light up, wish they did. Overall, I'd recommend.... These speakers are a perfect starter set for a workstation/gaming setup. They look really clean and modern, and the sound quality is pretty decent for the size. The light effects are a nice touch; however, I just wish the customizations done through the ConneX app would save after rebooting, but regardless, they look really nice. Read more

The audio is sharp and crisp so these are probably great if you want to listen to podcasts all day but for gaming or other media these are just sort of underwhelming. I could live with the lack of bass somewhat but they don't get particularly loud either; over USB I had them at 60% PC volume pretty much all the time. The price point is also a bit of a sore spot, as 79.99 MSRP feels kinda bonkers. I got these for 49.99 and still kinda feel like I overpaid. They're not bad overall but hard to recommend. Read more
I like the speakers, the sound is good and I have a lot less wires under my desk than I had before. It was not to hard to set up; but I did need to play with it a while before I got all working as it should. Set-up instructions could be better. Read more
