I'm very pleased with this USB hub! I use it with an M4 MacBook Pro when it's mounted under my desk in clamshell mode. My standing desk has an edge under it that made for a perfect mounting surface for this hub. It's so convenient and works so well. I'm now considering getting a second one for the other side of my desk to use with a mini-PC that's also mounted under it. The hub mounted with ease to my desk. To be certain I get the most stable connection with multiple devices I plugged the USB-C power port into a 5v power supply. The hub is lightweight, and takes up no space that I would otherwise be using. The silver color looks great with my white desk. The 10Gbps transfer speed works great for my needs; file transfers are as fast expected. I like that the always on blue LED illuminates the ports just enough to see where to plug a drive in even if the room is dark. I love the combination of 2 USB-C and 2 USB A ports since I use devices of both types. No more awkward reaching around under my desk when I need to plug a data drive in! Works great! I am getting close to the expected speeds, and it mounts well onto the desk. I didn't use the included cables, so I cannot rate those as I needed longer cables for my needs. It is nice and compact, so it fits right in with my desk without taking up space. Read more

I love this hub because it helps keep the desktop cleaner with less clutter. Barely noticeable mounted on bottom edge of my monitor. Super easy to install. Transfer data from thumb drive very fast and charges phone or mouse very well. Read more

Only 1 USB A and 1 USB C port works despite trying different devices and trying different cables than what were supplied. Can occasionally get multiple USB A ports to kind of work, but constantly drops the devices at random intervals. Read more

I’m a fan of these USB clamp hubs. I started with the early 5gbps 4xUSB-A versions without any 5v power input. Going through each slow evolution until the 10gbps versions were released. The whole time I’ve had good luck with them. No bad ports and they’ve been reliably adding additional ports underneath my desks for years. This EJAY branded hub works fine data wise. All four ports properly transfer at 10gbps (USB 3.2 Gen2x1). But there are a couple minor issues. There does not appear to be any short circuit protection on the USB-A ports. That means if you accidentally jam a USB-C cable into the USB-A port while blindly poking around— assuming the hub is tucked somewhere out of the way— the protection circuit of an upstream hub or port on your computer/tablet/phone will instead be triggered; potentially causing unnecessary problems. The hub itself should have this protection included but it does not. The included cables are garbage. The 5v input says it supports up to 3A. But there’s no way the included cable is rated for that. Its a typical cheap 1.5A USB-C charging cable that comes bundles with various products. Its not a major concern since its not required for use of the hub. But if you do need the extra power I suggest buying an additional cable. The USB-C data cable however is a bigger problem. I could not get 10gbps transfers working without errors. I switched it with another high quality cable and that immediately corrected the issue. I tried both with and without the extra 5v power input and it made no difference so it wasn’t a power issue. USB 3.2 (10 Mbps) hub that mounts under your monitor or out of the way desk edge. Comes with 2 cables, one for data and another for power. You will need to supply your own usb power to this device. Like this so much for convenience but still out of the way that I bought 3. One for each of my computers. Read more

The actual "mounting depth" is not that great. I had to add double sided tape to make it work. I understand they are going for slim-line appearance, but I would have preferred a little more grip area. It functions perfectly and comes with everything needed for operation. Read more

When plugged in to electrical socket, this hub provides power to your USB connected devices. 2 ports are USB A while 2 additional ports are USB C. It plugs into your computer's USB C slot. If you have a suitable place to attach it, the clamp is great. It secures the hub so you can plug and unplug devices without having to hold the hub in place while doing so. Read more
