I'm 5'8", 190lbs, "fat, not obese" body type and I bought the XXL. The sizing felt about right for comfort and just wearing around the house. Loose and breezy. I probably could have bought the XL instead but this was fine. I like the simplified style as opposed to the usual "granny gown' look, this felt a bit more modern and simple. The fabric felt really nice. I was surprised that polyester could be this soft, It felt very similar to a modal cotton. It's not see through and it's just thick enough to conceal panty lines. Smooth inside and outside. The zipper was good quality, it zipped smoothly both directions and it had an interfaced border on both sides of the zipper to give it some structure and stability. (Picture) I would not wear this robe for warmth because it's thin like a t-shirt. Feels cool. I also wouldn't recommend it as a swimsuit cover up because being made of polyester it's not going to wick moisture. Hence my return. The zipper robe is so soft and looks nice , but soon as I sat down the zipper is so hard and bunches up and that takes away the comfort I had when I was standing up, very disappointed, I already washed it so I can’t send it back, I tried it on before washing but didn’t think the good feel from it would change when setting.
