Super cute, they were not vacuum packed this time as they were last year but if they ever do vac pack themfor shipping again..... just throw them in the dryer on medium or low heat for 30 min and they will fluff right back up to full size and be super plump. What a great idea! The set comes vacuum-packed, so someone adept at handling scissors or a utility knife should open it. Once you get the main wrap off, you find three more sets of wrap, each holding five critters. They come out a little wrinkly in the beginning but it only takes a day or so for them to fully "inflate." These little guys have plenty of detail and personality, with chubby bodies and dangling arms and legs. No need to guess what they are. The manufacturer did a great job of creating cartoonish recreations (i.e. not perfectly dimensional or shaped) of the actual animals (although the giraffe is a little short on the neck (wink)). And, if you place them carefully, they'll even sit up for you. Are these for very little ones? Probably not, due to the button eyes, but I'd feel perfectly comfortable giving these to those three and up who don't have a younger sibling in the house. Is this package pricey? Not at all when you consider you're getting 15 little stuffed animals. These would make great party bag giveaways or for whatever purpose you may have in mind. I bought these as party favors for my four-year-old’s zoo birthday party. They arrived vacuum-sealed and came out completely deformed. Three of them even had holes in the belly where the seams had come apart. I paid extra for larger, better-quality plush animals since this was the only item I could provide at the zoo—and now I’m stuck giving these out tomorrow. I’m honestly disappointed and embarrassed.
