Telescopic wand is great for reaching into a firepit to light the log lighter, or lighting a disagreeable BBQ. It's a miniature hot spark on the end. Can light a candle or propane. To use: charge with a USB cable. There's a little switch on the business end. It works in both directions. Throw the switch, which will activate the lighter for a minute or so. A small blue light will illuminate indicating it's ready to strike. Then extend the wand to the desired length and press the button on the handle part to light the spark. I wouldn’t recommend this lighter. Often times when trying to light a candle I would sometimes hit the candle wick on accident and it would make the entire lighter flame go out. Also the battery of this dies very quickly and constantly needs recharging. Matches or regular lighters are much easier and less of a hassle in my opinion. Read more
