I like the scooter well enough, but I can't get the phone app to detect the scooter so I can't access all of the scooter's functions. UPDATE, going from a 3-star to a 4-star review, after quite a bit of fussing around with the app over a couple of days, I finally got it to connect to the scooter. I'm not terribly impressed with the app though, because there are some limitations with it, plus it's a bit glitchy. Perhaps that's because I have an Android device, but I doubt that would be the reason. Anyway, I am quite happy with the scooter overall because it perfectly meets my NEEDS. The price was fantastic; I got it for $109.00 and it's the same scooter that I've seen priced well into the 200-300 dollar range except that this one has a 500W motor and a better top end speed, whereas the others have all had a 350W motor and lower top end speed. We purchased this on June 20, 2025 and in less than 2 months, it broke. The neck of the scooter just started detaching from the base and revealed the wiring underneath. This has caused issues with the charge as well. What used to only use one battery bar, now consumes 3 bars. We only use it on paved walkways for leisurely use and we are very careful to avoid bumps. We have never been aggressive with it. There was no event that caused this - just a slow disconnecting of the base with regular use. And by slow, I mean in just 7 weeks it went from fine to suddenly non- fixable. I contacted a scooter repair company and after one look at it they said they can’t even fix it. It’s completely unrepairable and highly dangerous to drive now. They said it’s not something they even see often and looks to be a defect in the scooter itself. When we first got it, our only concern was that it never went above 16 miles per hour even when I used it (I’m only 130lbs). It never reached the 22 or so miles per hour that was listed. I know it varies based on rider weight, but I’m clearly a small person - the size of my teen. Maybe it was kilometers? We weren’t too concerned about that though. We could have been happy as clams with that speed if the neck didn’t detach. I’ve contacted customer support and have not heard back yet. If I do, I’ll update my review. Needless to say, I do not recommend this scooter for clear safety, durability, and longevity issues. I almost never leave reviews, but I feel I need to with this one - especially when the scooter repair company wouldn’t even attempt a repair and declared it highly unsafe to drive. Update: August 18, 2025. Customer service got back to me the very next business day and gave a full refund. So I’m upgrading my review from 1 star to 3 to reflect the outstanding customer service.
