I wanted a low cost scooter that would be good for short trips around town. I didn't care how fancy it was, I wanted something basic. I like that this has no app. I go to a local grocery store, convenience store, restaurants to pickup from, basically daily. I figured why bring my car everywhere, when these trips are short. Most places I go on the scooter are under 1 mile away. This scooter has been great! I've had it about 5 weeks now, and put on around 30 miles. For me, a full charge lasts about a week, or about 8 miles with my riding weight and style. I use this strictly for commuting. I don't jump it off curbs or try to do any tricks. Setting it up was pretty easy, although the instructions are lacking. It was easy to get setup in just 10 minutes. All required tools are included. This scooter is setup where it needs to be pushed to engage the motor (you can change this in the settings). So push off, then throttle up. The brakes work great. I haven't had to use the rear physical brake, the electronic motor brake works very well. There are 3 speed levels (1, 2, 3). Very easily changed by a button right next to where your thumb is on the throttle. 1 is very slow, like slower than some people walk, level 2 is about 10mph, and 3 is about 15mph. The scooter has no problem with my 160lbs getting to full speed and holding steady, even up mild grade hills. The throttle is proportional, so you can be in mode 3 and still go slower if you choose. I usually ride in mode 3 when on the street or path, and mode 2 when on sidewalks or when pedestrians are near. I will say I got used to the speeds very quickly. At first speed 2 even felt fast to me, now it feels like a slow jog. Level 3 is plenty fast, and about as quick as I'd want to go on a scooter this size and spec. But after a few rides, I was fully confident going the max speed. The size is good for basically anyone I think. It's not a big scooter, but I'm about 6 feet and it is just fine for me. I put this under, or in, shopping carts, it folds down very fast. At some stores I lock it up with a U-lock behind the front wheel. I like how it looks too, and has lights on front and back (which you can also control and turn off if you choose - although in mode 1 they are always blinking, and they always turn on when you brake). So far after over a month of owning, and using at least 5 times a week for short trips, I am very happy! Read more

I brought this awhile ago for my daughter bday in March. Well she finally used it and we are in love with it. Yes all because me, my brother, my nephew, my brother fiance nd her all ride it. The only thing Im going to watch for is how long the battery lasts. The speed is great. Seems like faster than what it says. Easy assemble. Didn't even need the instructions until the turning on point. Very durable and not to heavy. Read more
Battery will take initial charge. Battery eventually fully charged. Scooter speed control does not work. When the scooter is turned on it is in full speed mode no matter what range it is set on. The only way to slow it down is to depress the red electric brake control. Read more
