I bought this item for my son. He was super excited to receive it, and was happy to have an additional form of transportation. Upon initial use, it got up to 18mph. Now, after only 8 days, we are experiencing some issues with the scooter. It is only getting up to 10mph, which is very slow, compared to 18mph it was previously doing. We contacted Amazon support line. The representative tried trouble shooting to help resolve the issue, but after going through all the steps as instructed, it only got up to 11mph. Yesterday it got up to 14mph, but drop back to 10mph. My son is very disappointed, and his initial excitement has diminished. Now on the hunt for something more reliable.
