Pleasantly surprised by the selection. Plenty of LEDs including an RGB one, plenty of pullup/pulldown resistors, a breadboard, a mini power supply, and lots more. I am having fun playing with my Arduino with the help of this kit. Read more
Whether you want to be able to put together experimental circuits to try something out, develop a new device, or just start learning about electronics, this kit provides a surprisingly wide range of components (235 pieces!) at a very low price! Basically, it's a "breadboard"--a rectangular base with 400 holes (connection tie points) into which you can plug an included power supply module, pre-stripped connection wires (of various colors), and numerous resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, multicolored LEDs, switches, and various other parts (all included--but you can also supply additional parts of your own, if you wish) to construct circuits you want to try out or develop. There's so much in this kit that after you've emptied the box to look through all the parts it contains, you may have a bit of a struggle to get everything back into the box (but it can be done!). The breadboard itself is small--only 2.125" x 3.25"--but that's big enough to build up even fairly complex circuits. There is no printed documentation with the kit, except that a large flap on the inside of the box pictures (and names) each different component. Also, a tiny picture on the back of the box the breadboard comes in shows how rows of tie points are connected together (very helpful in learning how to make use of the board!). Importantly, much more detailed documentation is available on the manufacturer's website (specified on the box lid), and reading about it online will provide highly useful information. I found the kit to be a great bargain (especially after reading the online documentation!), and I have no complaints about the quality of the components provided. In particular, I was pleasantly surprised at how firmly the breadboard tie points gripped the wires and component leads that are inserted into them. Use of this kit will save me a lot of time in putting together circuits for testing and development. Read more
My kid absolutely loves the ELEGOO Electronic Fun Kit Bundle with Breadboard Cable Resistor, Capacitor, LED, Potentiometer! As a parent, it's been a joy to see my child's enthusiasm for electronics and STEM activities grow, thanks to this fantastic kit. One of the standout features of this kit is its educational value. It provides a hands-on experience that not only introduces kids to the world of electronics but also nurtures their problem-solving skills and creativity. The variety of components, including resistors, capacitors, LEDs, and potentiometers, has allowed my child to explore a wide range of electronic concepts and projects. The breadboard included in the bundle has been a game-changer. It provides a safe and organized platform for my child to build and test circuits without the need for soldering. This has been particularly reassuring for me as a parent, knowing that my child can explore electronics in a controlled and safe environment. The bundle comes with clear and easy-to-follow instructions, making it accessible for kids who are new to electronics. It has sparked a sense of curiosity and a desire to learn in my child, which is invaluable. Seeing my child's face light up with excitement as they complete projects and create their own electronic inventions with this kit has been incredibly rewarding. It's not only a fun and educational experience but also a bonding opportunity for us as we explore and learn together. The ELEGOO Electronic Fun Kit Bundle has been a fantastic investment for my child's development and enjoyment. It has ignited a passion for electronics and STEM in my kid, and I couldn't be happier with the educational value it provides. I highly recommend this kit to parents who want to encourage their children's interest in science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and engaging way. Read more
The breadboard is quite small - about the size of a credit card. This is great for small, simple tests and projects with good wire management, but the large jumper wires included make it rather messy. I'm a bit confused as to why a 4.5 inch board is paired with 7 inch wires. The power supply is also sold separate - kit contains an Arduino compatible power module, but no outlet power supply, 9V battery connector, or 5V USB power connector. Outlet power supply (9V) will run you an extra $8. Kit is therefore unusable out of the box as a standalone. Inclusion of 9V battery connector, or a 3V connector (holds a pair of AA batteries) would bump this to a solid 5/5. Resistor diversity is useful, but oddly contains a large quantity (I believe 24) 220 Ohm resistors, while the other sizes (10, 100, 1K, etc) come in small quantity of 8-10, but this has not been problematic. LED array is great, a generous quantity of multiple colors. Read more
Great for the $10 price. Get the $15 one for more conductor wires and longer breadboard. Read more
Nice set of parts but you may still need sensors and other things. Read more
Got it to create projects with little one. Amazing deal. Read more
I thought that there might be instructions or directions for projects for beginners. It says to go to their website and download a manual, but there is nothing for this particular kit. Read more
