I never write reviews, and will say this skirt is a 10. I’m 5’4”, 155-160lbs and have a belly, I ordered the size large in black, due to my measurements and it being 96% cotton, otherwise probably could have gone with the medium. It fits SO comfortably, it truly is so flattering with my shape. So if it shrinks a bit it will be perrrrfect! I don’t need to wear anything to suck me in, to get an hourglass shape, as the pockets give me a boost in the hip/booty dept. I’d say it’s similar to wearing your most comfy, stretchy and soft jeans. The material seems thicker and well made. I will try to update this review after my first wash and with pics. I’m honestly not a very girly gal and rock the skirts. But I’m glad I purchased this, it’s cute and can be dressed up or can pair it with some docs and a band tee. I highly recommend this skirt. I will be buying more colors if they go on sale. This is my favorite skirt to wear! I bought 5 of these but depending on the color they fit differently! The blue jean and black jean are so cute! I kept the red one because it was similar to the jean skirts but lighter material. The light purple and back and white ones were returned because they had a weird fit on me! Read more
This skirt is soooo cute and exactly what I wanted! The pockets are deep with a cute- cargo look to it. Their placement at the low hip was smart, as any bulk in the pockets adds to the silhouette of your hips, but be conscious of what and how much you put in there, as overfilling the pockets does eventually create a misshaped look. Out of the package, it does have a robust “chinesium” smell from the processing of the fabric, but im hoping that we all wash our clothes that aren’t certified “OEKO-TEX” before putting them on for the first time… don’t we? -ahem- I bought both a large and a medium because I recently lost ~30lbs, and while I have lost about 4-5inches off all my measurements, the reviews had me confused on the right size for me. The medium (pictured) *fits*, but my waist is a little too soft for the rigidity of the fit on the waistband (2nd pic). My waist measurement is 30.5 and the skirt looks …fine… if you can hide your spilling waist with your top lol. My legs are very long for my overall height of 5’2, and this skirt length in size medium is perfectly fine for the festival I bought it for, though the coverage of the butt is sketchy. Be sure keep how you intend this skirt to move in mind when choosing your undergarments! My core issue with the medium is having to suck in my stomach to achieve the look for over 10 hours walking and dancing around on festival grounds. That’s not comfortable or sustainable especially when I need a skirt with high comfort and danceability. However, the large fits perfect! It fits exactly the same on my build as the medium, just with a little more room in the waist and ever-so-slightly more butt coverage. The next pictures are comparison between the medium & large with garment measurements and fit on my frame: 40.5 - 30.5 - 40.5 (exact B-W-H measurements) + 30inch inseam. Whether size medium or small—pick good undergarments that cover your undercarriage, coz somethin’ IS gunna show if you got even just a little bit of cake in this thang. Read more
