I bought the black in XL. I am a size 16/18 and the XL fits me perfectly. I am 5’7” and The skirt is quite long (which I like)..it’s stylish and modest and the length hits right at my low ankles/ tops of my feet without dragging. You could cinch the waist or wear it up a bit higher if you needed the skirt to be shorter. Would be an easy piece to alter. The bottom of the skirt flares out (mermaid style I think it’s called?) super cute. It’s a very well made skirt! The inside of the skirt is lined with a matching color of what feels like a soft poly blend. The lining Feels cool and smooth against the skin of your legs and makes it so the skirt with the flowy bottom isn’t see thru. The linen fabric is a good quality weight and seems like it would help keep you cool in warmer temps and warm on cooler days. It’s a good amount of fabric, but Not too heavy for summer, and doesn’t feel cheap. The skirt has a cute style and there’s a simple attached non stretch draw string at the top so you can adjust to your waist. Would be super cute with a crop top or a smaller baby doll type tee with flip flops for summer, layer with a cute jacket, boots and a scarf for fall, or a cute cropped sweater, kitten heels and cute accessories to wear for the holidays or even working in an office. I’m pretty impressed with this skirt and it’s versatility. The only potential con that I can think of might be for the ladies that have a larger tummy as there is absolutely no stretch so if you have a big fupa that hangs over or sticks out quite a lot, then this skirt likely isn’t for you. Some reviews complained about the fabric wrinkling, but it’s a linen skirt. That’s what natural fibers do! They wrinkle! lol. However this is a heavier weighted fabric than other linen items I have in my closet, so, surprisingly, it really doesn’t wrinkle as I expected… The only noticeable place is the crease from my lap when I sit down, but I bought the skirt in black so that helps conceal any wrinkling too. The great thing about linen is that it’s not only great for the body, but it resists/repels lint and animal hair. Absolutely love that about linen. I have not attempted to wash the skirt yet, so I am not sure if it will shrink in size, but I will definitely wash it carefully, either by itself, or with other a few other things on a delicate cycle in cold water being careful that there’s no clasps or zippers on other clothing that might snag the lining of this skirt. The color will likely fade over time, but linen looks good distressed and lasts a long time. It’s an easy fabric to care for and easy to freshen up the color with fabric dye. To dry the skirt I’ll probably tumble dry on a very low setting or lay flat to dry. A steamer or light iron would work great if there are any wrinkles you want to get out. I like the comfy look of linen without ironing. Overall this is a great quality, affordable, cute skirt that would work for all seasons. I would definitely recommend adding this as a staple piece to your wardrobe. I may order another in the Khaki color. Read more
