Arrived reeking of fragrance. Opened the plastic mailer, could smell fragrance inside it, took item out, hoping inside the plastic bag coat was in would not smell, it did. I have asthma I cannot be around fragrances or any fumes toxic. Obviously I sealed it back up, put it in another bag to retain the fragranced stench, sprayed rubbing alcohol around trying to get rid of the fragranced stench in my apartment. This isn't the first time I've received clothing from amazon that stinks of fragrance. I really wanted this black trench, so disappointed. I purchased this exact coat in the light tan, in a separate order, it came the day before, it's perfect, NO smell of fragrance, it was in a zip lock bag with manufacturer on it, NO fragrance smell at all. It's perfect. love the coat, nice weight to it, the medium fit perfectly. I'm 5'1, 130 lbs., could even wear a cardigan under if wanted, but not loose without one. Very well made, well worth the price. Was excited to receive this black color and it arrives reeking of fragrance, again, why? No way to get that smell out of clothing, cannot understand why, not the first time I've had to return something from amazon for this same reason. Makes me afraid to buy anything. I don't go into department stores in person for this reason, they always smell due to their fragrance departments smelling up the place, so I buy amazon and have to return an item due to this very reason!! I can’t believe my good luck ordering coats online! I ordered the Large black coat and it’s great. It is functional and beautiful. It’s actually become the family favorite! It has been great at blocking the strong winds we have been experiencing and keeps you warm. I know that this is a ‘woman’s’ coat, but both of my adult sons have worn it as a functional coat to block the wind and as a fashion item when going out with friends.
