I love the design and details of this cardigan but there are elements that I do not like. The material is a bit stiff and the silhouette is fitted, but the cut is somehow off. I normally wear a medium in sweaters, but for cardigans I typically size up, so I can wear a layering piece comfortably. Even sizing up, this cardigan presents with gaps between the buttons on the front placket when buttoned. It makes it appear ill fitting. The fabric is thick, but not soft. Cardigan sweaters dont usu fit my pear shaped body well. This sweater is no exception. The top of the sweater comes together to button. But the bottom does not come anywhere near coming together. I generally don’t look good in cardigans. This isn’t a good look for me, either. That’s unfortunate because it is a nice sweater. It has pretty, shiny metal buttons (comes with an extra).
