I got 3 of the Ello Pop & Fill water bottles (18 oz, in black, purple, and and blue/orange) for my three kids (ages 9, 11, and 12), and they’ve quickly become their favorite bottles for school and activities. As both a mom and a teacher, I appreciate products that kids can actually manage independently. The open spout design is easily the best feature. Being able to quickly refill the bottle without fully taking apart the lid makes a big difference during busy mornings and during the many daily in-school transitions. The bottles feel sturdy but not too heavy, and they keep water cold throughout the school day. The leak-proof straw and chug options are great depending on how my kids want to drink, and everything has held up well with daily use. Cleanup has also been simple since the parts are dishwasher safe. Interestingly, my kids actually prefer these over their Owala bottles because they’re faster to refill and easier to use. Another big plus is the price point. It’s excellent compared to many other popular kids’ water bottle brands while still offering the same insulated performance and durability. I am giving it 4 stars because after a few uses, my son has reported slight issues with the straw when drinking. He says it is hard to sip water from, but this is because he simply puts in on too tight into the hole. The problem is easily fixed by removing the straw and then reinserting it without pushing it too hard. I just thought it was important to mention. Overall, this is a practical, well-designed water bottle that works especially well for school-age kids and teens. The media could not be loaded. My boy likes it. The quality seems durable enough. It’s so easy to use for my 2yrs and 6mos old son. The Dino Color is perfect for boys. The cleaning part for the straw is the only thing that needs much attention. It stains and using a straw brush is the only way to clean it well. For its 12oz size, definitely worth a buy. It isn’t too heavy for a little boy to carry by himself. I also tested if it’s leak proof. Thankfully it is. We tried to put it in my toddlers bag and position it horizontally.
