Bought two of these. Like them both. Was worried they might break, but they have a rubber covering so they won't . Happy with the qualiy of the glass, quite thick. Turn them over with the lid on and they leak. However, lock the cover and turn them over and no leaks at all. Just remember to lock the cover when carrying them around. Fit easily in my car cup holder. Size is quite tall. Good for a days worth of water. Value was good compared to quality of glass. Pop up lid great. Will not hold cold water for long before it warms up though. Haven't tried it with ice cubes yet, but I will. Read more
Great bottle. I don't like the taste of plastic or metal bottles, so I try to stick to glass. The plastic top does not bother me. Love that the silicone covers the bottom, adding additional protection. I also love the locking lid feature, so I can toss it in my bag without worrying about leaks or spills. The size is good - it's not too big or too small. I would love for a larger bottle in theory, but carrying it is difficult when they get too big. This is the perfect weight to carry around. There is a fairly loud sound when you open the bottle. I don't mind it, but my husband is a bit thrown off, hahaha. Read more
Love it! I will update review if anything goes wrong, but for now, it doesn’t leak, it washes up great in the dishwasher (I hand washed the lid though just to be careful since it has small parts/plastic). It looks beautiful and price is great for quality! I like lukewarm water so I can’t speak to the ice retention. It fits perfectly and doesn’t fall over in my car cup holder. Read more
This is a really good water bottle overall, but the design of the top makes it a little awkward to use. The bottle itself is glass with a rubbery cover, which I really like for both grip and protection. It has a flip-top lid, but the lid doesn't fold all the way back, so when you try to drink directly from it, the top hits your forehead. I ended up using a long straw to make it more manageable. One nice feature is the locking mechanism on the top, which gives me peace of mind when I toss the bottle on the passenger seat (since it’s slightly too wide to fit in my car’s cup holders). Overall, while I like certain features of this bottle, I wouldn’t buy it again because of the awkward lid design and width. Read more
Love this water bottle. Very sturdy and easy to keep clean. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is going to sound a little silly but the little *pop* the top makes when you open it is so satisfying! The lock seems to hold well though this has yet to knock around in a bag yet. My favorite part though is the way drinking feels. Water really does taste so much better from glass! The spout is also a great width and makes for easy sipping without spilling. My only concern is dropping it and breaking the plastic top. The silicon case will protect the glass very well, but the plastic top - as much as I love many things about it - seems like it might not survive many falls. The hinge seems a little flimsy. The pin that connects the flip top to the part that screws onto the glass bottle moves around. I'm still giving this bottle 5 stars though because thus far I have had no issues and I love drinking water from it! Read more
I've done enough reading on microplastics to know I want to minimize my exposure to them...and since I was drinking lots of water daily out of a plastic bottle, I went looking for an alternative. I wanted it to be large capacity, see-through, sturdy, wide drinking and filling apetures, easy to clean, with a easy-to-open locking cap and minimal exposure to plastic, and this bottle checks all those boxes. The only plastic exposure is the silicone seal in the lid, but when you're drinking, your lips only touch the glass. It also has a carrying loop which is nice when your hands are full, you can just loop it over a finger. The silicone grid helps protect the glass from breakage, and makes it easy to hold on to. You could add crushed ice to your drinks if you wish, but the opening is too small for most ice cubes. Having read another purchaser's sad tale of the locking cap failing during travel and ruining their laptop (I can see how that might happen if it were bumped around a lot), I use my old Nalgene On-the-Fly bottle for plane travel because it has a very robust lock, but when I'm not going on a plane flight, this one works great! If you do decide to take it on a plane, fill it nearly to the top (to avoid increased air pressure differential inside the bottle), be sure the white lid ring is screwed on tightly, flip the lock switch on, and test the button to make sure it's firmly locked....and just to be on the safe side, don't pack it right next to your electronics ;-) Read more
Perfect, simple design. Intuitive, uncomplicated. Fits a straw inside without it being wedged against the lid, but also designed so the straw doesn't sink down into the rest of the bottle thanks to its smaller opening at the top. Lid is simple to clean, without having to worry about the gasket found in most other water bottle designs. It is leak proof when turned on its side, and the lock seems to work pretty well for keeping the lid from opening unintentionally. It is a bit hefty but that is to be expected from a glass water bottle. The glass is thick, but I recommend being extra careful not to drop it, just in case. I had gone through trial and error trying to make myself drink more water, but I hated plastic, and most reusable bottles had a flaw. Sliding lids, straws, straws with caps, sipper lids, stoppers, plastic, silicone, metal, I had tried them all. This has beat them all by far. Read more
