The material of these towels is quite thin, but that's to be expected at this price point and in quantity like this. They're great to have extra towels around for guests, and look stylish in the bathroom. They're a bit small, but the hand towels are a good size. I don't understand the 1 star ratings. I washed these towels right away. There was a little lint but no more than average. They don't shed, they aren't falling apart and I didn't get lint all over me when I used them. I would like them to be a little fluffier but otherwise they're very nice! Read more

I gave 2 stars because the color was perfect and because they are cotton. The size and quality were incredibly disappointing. One is the picture of what’s advertised, nice thick looking towels. The other picture is what I received, rough thin tiny, not oversized as described. You’re looking at two bath towels, two hand towels two wash cloths that only stack to 4 1/2 inches. Ironically, I was trying to copy something I experienced in Japan. In Japan, companies are required by law to have products match any pictures that are used in advertising.. The reason this is a 4 is because it is NOT the product's mistake, but mine. I did not read thoroughly nor did I pay close attention to the description detail. I wanted to give this product a 0 rating, but again, it was my fault for expecting normal, fluffy towels and not the "light weight" as described. So, I did use this product and the color is perfect, and it dried off efficiently, thus 4/5. However, upon first feel, it felt like the towels we use when washing/drying the car. It is THAT thin (or light weight as described). I should have returned the whole package upon first feel. But, I am using them mostly for their color and not for the intended purpose. Therefore, as per product description, 4/5. As for a normal, everyday usage towel, 0/5. Not even good enough for college, single life. Again, car washing or decoration. Read more
