I kept seeing ads for the Arena strength bands, but I don't know that I can justify spending $50 on some elastic...especially when I'm not even sure if I'll enjoy the workouts. So I went ahead and decided to give these a try. Excellent price, plus I really like the colors (sorry Arena--just because I'm female, that doesn't mean I want everything pink). These are soft and easy to hold, and have a rubber grip on the inside of the bands, which I find really helpful when stepping or kneeling on them. Unlike the rubber tube bands, I don't fear that these are going to snap, and I'm going to take a plastic handle to the eye. I appreciated that the manufacturers included a little flyer with some exercises, but there were only like, 5...I wish they had some more listed. But hey, that's what youtube is for! Read more
Unlike the rest of the reviewers, did not think these were super hard, but they're well made. They're what you'd expect them to be in terms of resistance bands, though within these first three months the lowest resistance band is already coming apart, I imagine because of the extra tear and wear. My husband and I work out together every morning and we purchased these bands for our home gym. We have been looking for something that was good quality, but still a good price. We were even more pleased when the bands showed up, and we saw how durable they were, and were out quality material. We had a little discrepancy with our order, but the customer service at this company is AWESOME! We would buy these bands again and also purchase from this same company. Really like the product overall. I use the roller near everyday. It's a really good one, not too big like a lot of others, and its basically 2 in 1. The bands are really durable. I've been using mostly just one, for over a year and its still has a bunch of resistance in it, hasn't lost any as far I can tell. And, they are really comfortable in use, no slipping down your legs or bunching or anything gettin in the way of a good workout. Read more
A few years ago I had tried to order Arena Strength long and short bands set from the company. To make a long long story short , I recently donated the long bands set. Never did get the short band set. I bought these. Nice , easy to use and half or more LESS expensive than Arena Strength brand! They were recommended to me by my strength and conditioning coach. I've been using them for a few months. They are holding up well, have just enough "stickiness" they don't roll up my legs; the width is perfect; the difference in strength between each color is noticeable.
