So excited to watch the old movies with the kids. It is working great thus far. I like when I noticed there is actually a number to call and talk to a person for repairs. Didn't check it yet but that would be a bonus. Having actual people to call for help if it malfunctions. I plan to call it and ask if they can help fix the old vcr that stopped working. Read more

I was so glad to find this DVD+VCR Combo Player because my mother had one just like it but it stopped working. Well, she wanted another one just like the one that died. This player is exactly like her old one. So, I purchased it for Mother's Day,and she was thrilled. I purchased this VCR/DVD combo used for a very low price. When I first received it, the remote didn't work properly, but the seller replaced it (offered me an alternative of money to buy one that was more than I paid for the unit!) and it now works well. A few buttons on the remote can be touchy, but a bit of fiddling generally does the trick. I really cannot complain since the thing was so cheap. It has worked so far -- I don't use it that often and rarely used the VCR (it's good to have though) -- and again, for the price and my needs, it does the trick. It is block-y in appearance -- not sleek deal -- but I'm not here for that. (An update a few months in. It is still working well but repeatedly many buttons on the remote such as the arrow keys do not work properly. Switching back and forth from VCR and DVD mode or turning it off and on again seems to help. Again, I received this for a very low price and it is an old model, so cannot really complain.) Read more

We had this product before. It worked beautifully. Our house burned down and this was one of the many items that was lost in the fire. I enjoy the tunet. This seller is great! A good communicator, and will do the best for his customer. Read more

This item DID NOT WORK and was sent WITHOUT a remote control. I purchased a universal remote and we tried and tried to get it to work. We finally called tech support and they said the VCR/DVD player was faulty. And so after a lot of time and aggrevation, I returned it. To recap: I received a defective item without a remote control. It arrived with tape glue over many parts of the exterior. It seems a liitle time and Goo-Gone before it was packaged would have shown a little pride in their refurbishment. Other than that, its perfect for my needs. Read more
