I don't want to oversell this or anything... but I am very impressed with the build quality. As others mentioned, it is made from real metal. The entire light, frame, mount, everything. Very good quality too, the tack welds look clean and the pieces are fit together well. Paint is clean and looks to be applied evenly and cleanly. Fixtures are good too, the wiring isn't too thin and the light really just has great build quality all around. My ONLY criticism, which is so easily fixed it's almost not worth mentioning, is the mounting screws are a little too long. This means to get the light to sit flush against the ceiling, you'll probably need to trim the screws a bit. However, all in all, this is so minor a detail it's barely worth mentioning, and definitely not worth reducing the overall score of the product. Looks great and not hard to install however one screw cap doesn’t fit tightly so it is not flush to the ceiling. It’s flush enough that it will hold and you really can’t tell unless ur changing a light bulb. Read more

This fixture is surprisingly solid and heavy (good qualities in my view) even though there’s no glass. Because it’s mounted flush against the ceiling and is relatively heavy, installing it took a bit of effort. I am using two incandescent Edison bulbs, and love the relaxing amber glow the light puts out in the hallway where I mounted it. Read more

This light looks great in our new kitchen entrance. It's a sturdy light with a good amount of weight to it. The LED bulbs that we put in it look great too. We saw a similar light fixture that cost twice as much, so the price is right. It was easy to install, but due to its weight, it's helpful to have one person hold the frame while another person wires it up. Love the light! Read more

Looks good, just like the photos. Easy to install. Arrived quickly. Only complaint to note - the anchoring screws that hold the "balls" that secure the fixture to the ceiling mount are defective. Looks as if one of the screws was snipped and the threads will not allow the ball to secure the fixture to the ceiling. I had to replace it with a purchased screw from Lowes to make it work. Check the components before installing to ensure you dont run into the same problem. Read more
