Awesome lights to add a touch of flair and brightness to your home. This set was relatively easy to install and comes with enough wire from the power box to run it quite a ways and be able to hide it nicely. The only pain is individually screwing in each mounting bracket, which can be quite a few, on say a 100ft string. Overall the installation was simple enough though. You can probably get away with only screwing in every few brackets or so, but I wanted my lights to be taught and neat. The lights are very bright LEDS and are easily controlled via the app, which offers almost infinite possibilities. The app comes with numerous preset light/color modes for virtually every holiday and even season. Overall very happy so far and they look great! I would have preferred the white colored wire instead of black for a more inconspicuous look, but for some reason white was about $100 more for the same 100ft set. 🤷🏻. Read more
Overall Impression: I’m super happy with how these eternity eave lights look on my house. Most nights I keep them on the solid white setting, and the lighting is even and bright without being harsh. Customization: The built‑in preset modes are fun. If you like changing the look for holidays, game days, or special occasions, there’s plenty to play with. Effects transition smoothly and colors look rich, so it’s easy to switch from a classic look to something more festive in seconds. Scheduling: I set mine up on a daily schedule so they turn on at dusk and off later at night. Not having to think about it has been a huge help. I would 100% forget to turn them on or off every night otherwise. The schedule feature has worked reliably and I haven't noticed them being on or off when they're not supposed to be. Installation Experience The included tape was helpful for positioning and getting everything lined up. That said, I wouldn’t expect the tape alone to hold long‑term, the center screw is what keeps things secure. I planned to screw into the eaves from the start, so this wasn’t an issue. With the screw in place, the brackets feel sturdy and the installation looks neat. I had to use a good amount of the wire management clips during the installation but I'm more OCD about how my wires look than most. Tips from my setup: Use the tape to mock‑up placement and spacing before committing. (Each puck individually not an entire strand or light run) Once you’re happy with alignment, add the center screw to lock it in. Plan out the spacing on your peaks so a puck either lands right in the center or two are evenly spaced on either side of the peak. Performance So Far (Installed for approx. 3 weeks): The lights have been steady and reliable. The white setting remains my default, but I appreciate having options for color and motion when I want a change. The lights are fantastic. I searched all over Amazon for lights that are a deal compared to Govee's prices but are still quality. These are them. About 90% of the lights sold here attempting to mimic what Govee does all use the same cheap, frustrating, generic open-code app that is worthless. Those lights also have trouble finding the right color hue. This lights by contrast have the perfect representation of what the color should look like. The app is seamless and easy to figure out. They seem to be quality on par with Govee, if not better. They give about 20 feet length on the power cord, making it easier to figure out year around setup vs seasonal with extention cords everywhere. I'm getting an outdoor light box to mount all the power supplies. Even though they seem plenty durable, I'm making sure they're out of the elements and still easy to access. There is a sync button on the power supply, so it would be wise to keep it relatively accessible even though they have not dropped connection from my wifi. Read more
Excellent quality, unbelievable ability to modify the lights any way you want and overall very easy to install. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only due to the app which froze a few times. When the app freezes you must shut down the app and open it up again and all is well for a period of time but I found it will happen from time to time but it's not really a deal breaker. I love the clips that come with it. Super easy to install with included screws and wire clips. I found that I did not have to use the wire clips at. It took me about an hour and half to install the full 100 feet of eave lights. The options for colors and included scenes are amazing. You don't have to use the app if you don't want to as the button on the main power supply allows about 10 preset functions. Great product, planning on ordering more of to do the entire house and excited for holidays so I can use all of the preset holiday lighting shows. Read more
Review I originally bought a set of other lights because they were cheap and on sale here. Found out they didn’t “chase” so I looked for something else. Looked at Costco and they had the govee lights and the enbrighten eternity lights. I figured Costco wouldn’t sell junk and these are half the price of govee eave lights. So I bought them from here because Costco wouldn’t sell junk take a little longer to deliver but the same price. The way I put them up was I added a 1”x.5” wood track. Painted those and spaced them 2.75” away from the house. I then added the lights with the provided pucks with stickies. Stuck them in the correct position on the track. The adhesive on the stickies worked great. Popped them out of the pucks and put the provided screws through each. Re-attached the lights into the pucks. No cutting of the lights. They work fantastic and look very nice. I feel like I saved myself a few hundred bucks and look just as good as the expensive lights. Enjoy the pics. Read more
