So glad we invested! Took a few hours to install them under the eaves, but it was really easy, and they look SO much better than the old strings we hung on the roof edge. The adhesive worked great to hold them in place while we put in the screws, even though it was only 19 degrees out. The lights have even worked at 10 below zero overnight (in MN). The app took a bit to understand, but oh my it gives you so many options - shades of every color, start/stop times, flashing speed. And no more plugging/unplugging, falling down, broken bulbs or ice build-up. I could spend hours playing with the settings in the app, but then I'd have to stand out on the street in the cold to admire the effects. I noticed one of neighbors recently installed them, too. Totally worth the time and money. Next year, Christmas prep will be so much easier! I'm looking forward to all the other holidays for a whole new reason. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I’m surprised by how easy to install and nice they look. Very bright! We noted the quality of the product too. They just went up tonight, so I don’t know about longevity, as of now they are great looking. And a good start to the holiday decorating. App was easy to use. And I think has good selection of default themes. I was on the ground handing supplies, while hubby got on the ladder. We have a simple roof and had extra for sides. Took us about 90mins in total. Very easy and not too obvious when off, no loose wires. Our security camera with motion still work too. I tried to show two different times dusk and night, so you could see how bright they are; that is full brightness. Read more
When we first considered these lights, we thought they would be perfect for Christmas. No more climbing ladders or asking for help to hold the ladder. As we learned more about them, we liked them even more. My wife loves having the safety lights around the house all year. You can have them all on or select to have only particular lights on around the eaves and have the peaks off. We can also use them for other holidays, like the 4th of July, or even light them up in our favorite team colors. There are presets or make your own. The color options are endless, allowing us to customize them however we want. I’m not sure what kind of advanced technology they used, but I can adjust each light’s color and turn them on or off individually. They can also chase, blink, dim, or even create custom color mixtures. One feature I appreciate is that they are secured with both tape and a screw. While it was a bit more work in the installation, they won’t be falling down unlike one of my neighbor’s lights. He has lights from a different brand, and they are dangling down because the tape failed. The application is pretty easy to use. I just had to play with it a bit to customize things that we wanted them to do. You know happy wife happy life. We can schedule the lights to turn on and off automatically, so we don’t have to flip a switch at night. These lights are fantastic! Read more
These lights are so incredible. Setup was very easy and took a couple minutes to get up and running! They look amazing and I'm so happy we bought them! Best eaves lights out there in my opinion. I had the Govee and returned them. These are leaps and bounds better in light output, functionality and the app is super user friendly. We only had to screw in a few of them, but that was due to the house, not the adhesive on the lights themselves. Read more
We just installed 200 feet of these eternity lights on our house. Installation was fairly quick in easy, done over 3 days due to weather and daylight. We had to cut 5 puck lights from the last string of lights to fit the back of our house. The 7 remaining lights on the string are not lighting up and they are not showing in the app. We followed the instructions, cutting the strand with wire cutters, leaving at least 1" of wire beyond the last light, and placed silicone caulk in the plastic end caps before placing it on the wire. We have unplugged and replugged the entire set several times with no luck. Customer service is not available outside of our regular working hours, so unsure how we'll get this resolved. Has anyone else had this problem when cutting a string of lights? Otherwise, we're very happy with the look of the lights and the ease of use with the app. Read more
