Endust for Electronics CD DVD Blu-Ray Lens Cleaner 262000

I recently noticed my Panasonic DP-UB9000 Blu-ray player was starting to struggle, showing glitches and visual artifacts when reading both 4K and standard Blu-ray discs. Since this is an expensive player, I wanted to try a cleaning solution before buying a replacement. I gave this lens cleaner a shot — and it WORKED. That’s all. This is a fantastic bargain if you own any Blu-ray player worth a few hundred dollars. The disc indicates it also works with Xbox and Sony PlayStation systems. Just play the CD, and the actual cleaning occurs on track #3. And as the instructions warn, do NOT touch the tiny brushes with your fingers — you don’t want to transfer skin oils onto them. I know this Endust lens cleaner did its job because I tested several scenes from the same 4K discs that had consistently given my UB9000 problems. I have an older Sony blue-ray player that is otherwise totally functional, but an excess of dust (which canned air wouldn't clear) caused it to stop reliably playing discs that I knew were totally clean. The instructions for using this are clear enough, but take a note that this is intended for regular players, not game consoles. Anyway, I put it in, followed the steps to use it, and minutes later was playing the same disc the player claimed couldn't be played, and without any hiccups or problems. Good cleaning product, in my opinion, and I'd buy again if this one wasn't reusable. Fortunately it can be reused, so the case goes on my blue-ray shelf for whenever I might need it next. Read more

My 2013 Camaro CD player wouldn't recognize any disc. Would just reject them. First I blew it out with a compressed air can (with the straw) usually for computers. Just a tiny slit to work with. Then I inserted the cleaner disc and it got rejected back out. So I just kept putting it back in about 25 times. It finally accepted the disc and I ran the disc cleaner like 10 times. The cleaning cycle only lasts a few seconds. It still rejects discs sometimes but it'll work if I reinstall the disc a couple times. It plays music while cleaning and the sound did get better as I ran the cleaner disc several times. So this is a tough job if you can't get your player to accept discs. But I got it to work. So I went from ejecting any disc to it accepting a disc 90% of the time on the first try. I ordered the Maxell CD cleaner disc also to see if I can get that up to 100%. I had a Blu-ray player as well as a slim DVD burner that were starting to act up; they started refusing to read certain discs they always had, or skipped, etc. I ran this cleaner on both and instantly solved the issues. I also appreciate the calibration track. I know there are cheaper options out there but I felt like this was worth the extra money, knowing it was a reputable brand and worked well. Read more

Be careful using this with Blu-ray players that don't support CD and DVD. It is compatible with multi mode drives or CD drives. The player appears to be designed to run at CD speeds, which is 100 to 300 rpm, much slower than modern Blu ray. It's is not compatible with PS4 and other Blu-ray only drives. It may damage those drives, because the drive runs at much higher speed. Read more
