Ease of Assembly: the instructions aren't great but the thing is pretty simple, so you can figure it out yourself looking at the pictures. it's not that there aren't instructions, there are. They just don't show you what the parts are, they just tell you to attach "part 3" to "Part 1" without explaining which is part 3 and which is part 1. but again, it's fairly straightforward so you’ll figure it out. Took me about 10 minutes from start to finish to set it up. Sturdiness: I jumped up and down a bunch of times and hung from bar (bc I can't do a pullup yet) and it seems sturdy. Re: Bendability, it does dip a tiny bit in the middle, but it still feels solid. my husband who is 240 lbs won’t use it bc that's just at the weight limit and he doesn’t want to break it. Quality: overall the quality seems good. not particularly high quality, but sturdy nonetheless. Door protection: It appears to have good door frame protection, with the foam parts. if not, i will report back. It's super strong. Super easy to put up and take down. One thing I didn’t think about before putting up, is that whatever door frame you put it in, the door will have to stay open. Like I said, it’s easy to put up and take down, but I’d like to just keep it installed to encourage me to use it more. Seems like you're getting what you pay for for $20. I don't like this product because it is only good for the pull-ups, chin-ups, and even that is not so good if you are 6 feet 1" like me. You have to bend your legs to do any upper-body pull-ups because you start standing on the ground. And when I try to do the sit-ups, the bar keeps moving. I liked that it was easy to put together, and the quality seems good enough. It's comfortable enough with gloves on. It does fit in my standard 32" and 36" wide doors. Read more

This pull up bar for doorways is easy to set up. It is sturdy- made of steel. All the pieces fit securely together and feels safe. My son has been doing pull ups and full flips on this pull up bar in his doorway. I have also been able to do pull ups on this, I am 145 pounds. It says it can hold up to 300 pounds, I trust it to hold our weight. It fits easily onto the door frame and is portable so if you go on vacation you can take it with you. Put it up when you want to work out and take it down when you’re done with ease. The foam grips help with comfort when working out and also keeps your hands from slipping. Read more

The ENERGI CORE Pull Up Bar for Doorway should be a convenient option for building upper body strength at home. Unfortunately, the build quality is absolute junk. When I first opened it, one of the rubber ends kept popping off every time I put it in. Then, when I tried to put it together, it would not tighten enough for use. The included tools started breaking down as the included hex driver was stripping and breaking down. Bottom line, even when using my own tools, this would not tighten enough to use. What should be a simple workout device is not built well at all. I will be returning this today. I highly encourage you to buy another device with solid reviews. Read more

The bar was easy to put together but I wasn’t able to get it to fit tight. There seemed to be more wiggles than I was comfortable with. The bar did fit our doorways I’m just nervous to really try it out. My son, who would probably use it more than I would is tall and said it really won’t help him. It is easy to put up and take down and it doesn’t take up much room. The price is right. We may reassemble it and see why ours is so wobbly. Read more
