I like this bag for an odd reason. I use it as a "go bag" for hospitalization. A few years ago I broke my hip and was rescued by paramedics. The paramedics helped me gather a few things, like my cell phone and charger, but I ended up having to ask friends to bring various items from my home. Now I have this bag packed with everything I discovered I wanted. They supply various toiletries at the hospital and physical therapy rehab facility, but i want my brands, my stuff. This particular bag is an excellent size and it's being clear helps with the inventory process. It's well made and opens widely, which not all bags in this size do (I guess you can save a lot of money by shortening a zipper a couple of inches.) I like the gauge of the plastic, as it's heavy enough that sharp corners won't poke holes easily and light enough to be flexible. Read more
This is a perfect size for your 'personal item' for air travel, if you don't mind displaying the contents to all passersby. I sometimes travel with jeweler's hand tools, and even though they're under the length limit, the mass of metal looks imposing on an x-ray and usually gets checked by hand by TSA. I'm using it for car tools, because if you've ever driven an old car and know enough to replace a radiator hose and the like, you keep tools in your car. No idea if this is really sturdy enough for that (only time will tell), but it beats the cardboard box I had been using (last pic). I did put the sharp-ended tools in a small cardboard box. Downsides: it's vinyl, which will stiffen and may crack in very cold temperatures. As others have pointed out, it really needs handles, a way to detach the shoulder strap, and a two-way zipper on the main compartment. Read more

Sturdy, well-made clear bag - perfect for tools, toys, crafts, anything you can think of. The plastic is very durable and zippers are strong. Love the external pocket, perfect for smaller items, and that it’s clear - I will be using for tools so it’ll be great to see everything without even opening the bag. It’s large enough to fit a laptop, and seems like it will be pretty water resistant. Read more
