First, after reading many reviews it's clear that they are for multiple products -- some clearly describe an item with two 3.5mm jacks, so to clarify, I am reviewing the model with 1 USB-C and 1 3.5mm jack with TRRS connections on the 3.5mm jack. My phone is a Pixel 7A, and I use it only with a 3rd-party Android app for playing MP3 music files that are loaded locally on the phone. The good: it worked out of the box, sound quality is good, no static or other noise, and build quality appears excellent. It came in a 2-pack and both work. I've tried it with 2 headphones, one with audio only (TRS) and one with TRRS with a pause button. but no microphone or rev/ff/vol buttons. Both headphones work, pause button works on the one that has it. Nowhere does it say that this device has a microphone, so I am assuming that if your headphones do not have a microphone, you won't get audio in, so no one will hear you on calls or video conferences. The bad: Sound cuts out, not randomly as some have noted, but at the end of a song. If I ff or rev, the sound comes back (I have to do that on the phone, because neither of my headphones have controls for that.) Sometimes, after a few tracks, it just starts working normally, playing multiple songs without the sound cutting out. I can live with it, but it is a little annoying, hence the 4 stars. Read more
