I have a sensitive nose and so does my family. I tried the Lemon plug in and love it! So I tried these for smaller spaces. Upon first sniff, I was sorry I'd bought them. They were just too manly and overpowering - and I was supposed to use all 4 for a single room? But wait - It's my choice. I don't have to use all 4. So I pulled one out, set it in a small dish (I bought refills by mistake instead of the holder thingy) and while I still wasn't sure of the smell - it worked exactly as I hoped! We have dogs - and they smell sometimes. It's just the nature of the beast. And these things just add a whiff of freshness to the air. My husband hasn't even noticed them and his nose is keen. That means it's just enough to ditch the stanky-doggy-lake water smell without screaming " HEY I'M A SMELLY COVER UP!". If I were to purchase again, I'd likely try another smell, but this one isn't bad. A bit like a masculine deodorant, but doesn't yell "lavender" - which is good. Gental refreshing floral scent that’s not too intense but still strong enough to fill a space when you walk into the room. I have two cats and most air fresheners are toxic to pets as they contain dangerous essential oils. Even the ones that are safe usually don’t have a pleasant smell. I love how enviroscent is safe for pets while still smelling amazing. I also appreciate the eco friendly packaging. I keep the stixs in the bathroom and use the wall plug in for main spaces. While the smell does dissipate over time the stixs themselves smell for months. I would highly recommend for pet owners who still want a refreshing floral scent without any risk to their animals. Very disappointed with these air freshener sticks. Ever since they switched from the original cardboard packaging to the aluminum container, the quality has dropped dramatically. The scent is much weaker and doesn’t last at all—barely two days, if that. The older version lasted forever and filled the room with a natural, pleasant fragrance. Now, the scent fades almost immediately and is hardly noticeable. Multiple people have commented on the difference when they come into my home, so it’s not just my imagination.
