First thing to know, order up a size, i general wear between a size xl and 2xl, but had the sneaky suspicion to order up a size with these and I'm glad i did because these would have been too small other wise. I ordered the 3xl and these fit about like a tight 2xl, or lose 1xl, which is comfortable for me. This is a comfortable pair of shorts, i wouldn't dare wear them out for much else other than house chores or walking the dog and such. These athletic shorts are heavier and thicker than I expected, partly because of the compression liner. For me, they are ideal for weightlifting. I also see myself wearing them when running in colder weather, but they are not light and breathable enough for strenuous activities in the heat. The side pockets come in handy, but I could do without the back pocket and the unsightly flap that covers it. I'm also not wild about the stripe on the backside. The elastic waist band and draw strings are somewhat redundant, but you can be assured of a snug fit. These shorts are great fitting shorts with perfect fit, feel, breathable comfort. I love how the liners are designed for chaffing protection. The material seems to be nice, heavy, and soft. A liner phone pocket to carry and protect my phone, 2 front zippered pockets, and one back pocket design to keep my valuable items like a key or credit card, has really helped in keeping my hands free during running activities. I am a runner, and these are exactly the shorts I'd buy. Read more
These shorts are really nice and the liner itself is super comfortable. I do however have one complaint about the overall design. There is a flap of fabric that covers a small pocket above the butt and its actually annoying and ugly. I didn't realize that these shorts had that and I would not have ordered them had I known. I got the large because since the pandemic I'm flirting with 36" waist size. The pants fit comfortably but I probably could have fit in the mediums, there was plenty of room available. The liner has a phone pocket in addition to the two shallow slash side pockets, there's a zippered pocket ink the small of the back. I love the liner in these shorts, you'll never have chafing while doing the elliptical trainers. They run just slightly large but not enough to worry about. They've held up well though 3 washings so I'm happy so far. I'd buy again. Read more
I love these shorts for the gym, nice and tight but also pretty breathable. Absolutely love the color of these because they can go with legit anything. I’m wearing them in the photo with blue and they are grey and black pants, I mean they go with ANYTHING! I wear these about twice a week and have had them for a few months and not a bit of wear has occurred. Highly recommend. Read more
I especially like the built in compression liner. It's very comfortable and allows you to wear the shorts with or without underwear. The front pockets are sufficiently deep. The center rear pocket is unique. I'd like it better without the big flap, but that's just a personal preference. The material is great and dries quickly. I wish they were about an inch longer, but they certainly aren't short shorts. Read more
Bought these for running and other fitness stuff. Look too nice to use for mowing lawn and getting them all dirty. I normally wear medium and the medium size in these is perfect for me. As with most shorts of this type, they have the liner but it is much too loose to substitute for proper running underwear for runs of any distance. Read more
