I definitely purchased these Equinavia riding boots for fashion instead of horse riding. I got the size 10. I typically wear a 9.5 in every type of shoe, but boots tend to run tight in the foot, so I sized up. We'll, the calf and ankle area fit snuggly, but just right. The width of the foot fits very well-like a medium width, but the length is exactly...a half size too long. I still would have needed the half size up for room on the top of Mt foot (bones) and for the calf width. As you'd expect, these are riding boots, and the design is for snugness all over. I wore these shopping on concrete, and they are pretty comfortable to wear for several hours on hard surfaces. Overall, even though I have a little extra length, these are comfortable and fit well. One thing to note, if you will be sitting, they come up high, and may feel uncomfortable at the bend or crook of your knee. I feel these are a good value for a boot that is a blend of synthetic and real leather, with a rubber sole. Read more

Quality is overall Decent, the zipper and buttons are bad quality . It didn’t fit well at all. I ordered a size 8 narrow which was entirely way too big. I wear a size 8 and it was so big it could have been a size 10. Even though I got a narrow, it didn’t even fit around my leg and the boot goes too high up my knee. Mind you I’m a normal size person. I got these boots for fashion rather than function, so I can't review them on the merits of how well it holds up during horse-riding. I can say that they are very sleek and quite comfortable. I'm not sure how I feel about the Spanish top but it may just take some getting used to. Synthetic leather not, these boots are very well-constructed and so comfortable. I also appreciate the elastic gussets on both sides of the zipper. While they do serve a purpose, I also think they look really cool as well. Read more

So the boot is very comfortable however I went through two pairs in a year because the zipper breaks to the point where you cannot fix it. Won’t buy again. Talked to the company as well and they were not helpful. Read more
