This scale is incredibly easy to use and extremely convenient for lunch with friends/at work weighing of food. Since I track my macros (through weight), I needed something that would fit in my bag and wouldn’t be intrusive. This scale is it! It has different unit measurements (grams, ounces/pounds) which helps for different purposes. There is a tare button to weigh food as you build your plate/bowl (w/out including the plate/jar weight). I use the scale primarily for weighing ingredients for recipes. I like the fact that it weighs down to 01. oz. accurately, can weigh in American or metric measurements, can be tared for successive additions (as in, tare the scale with a bowl, add an amount of flour, tare again, and add an amount of sugar, tare again, and add an amount of ground nuts... all without having to pour out the mixing bowl). I like the fact that it weights items up to about 11 pounds (useful for roasts and such). I like the fact that it is very compact to store away, but reads out instantly when you get it out. It seems to be a great scale, the best I've seen/used for kitchen use. The scale works very well, I think it is very accurate and cosmetically it looks very good. I bought the exact same model from a different brand a couple of months ago but only paid $10, sadly I gave it to a friend so I searched Amazon to get a new one but this time the only one available in this specific format was this brand which cost me $20. Good little scale, easy storage. It has a tare button, so you can zero out the weight of the container whose contents you are weighing. Only thing I don't like is the battery is one of those watch button batteries. I hope it will last for a decent time. I have another scale which uses the same battery. It does not get much use, and by the time I need it, the battery is dead. Hopefully, this one is different. Read more
I needed a smaller scale for a summer-long road trip. It's compact compared to my regular Escali kitchen scale. I actually prefer this scale to my old one (even though the old one is more attractive). I use it every day now at work, it's been operating on the same battery for over 6 months. Good product! This thing is junk. Always throwing errors. Won't tare and the weights randomly move around with nothing on the scale. Waste of money buy a normal non folding scale. Read more
Love the size, love the simplicity. Hate how sensitive the touch buttons (not press) are. If you brush anything against the power button it turns on. Really inconvenient when trying to put it away. Can’t put this in a drawer for that reason. Read more
