this backpack is great for jobs that require you to work in clean room environments so far i have had no issues, nothing looks or feels like its tearing apart. i throw this on the concrete floor every time i show up to my job so I'm pretty ruff with it and its holding up to my abuse. Read more

I've owned 3 of these backpacks in the last year. I work at a semiconductor plant and have to carry around a clipboard, hat, tools, swagelok adapters and fittings, and other personal items. I probably have 10-15 lbs of equipment that I carry in my bag. The bag is durable enough to carry around for a few months before it eventually starts to break down. I also work outdoors and the bag gets exposed to sunlight and heat, which I believe compromises the vinyl and causes it to degrade. I'm not knocking the manufacturing or anything. This is as durable of a clean room backpack as you're going to find. A lot of people at my site have the same bag and like it. Just know that the bag will not last forever. This clear material is not meant to be thrown around and abused for long periods of time. It tears and cracks. I'm probably about to order another one, just because of how useful it is to have all of my tools on me at all times. I guess you could think of it as a service instead of a permanent item. Also, I'd like to add that I carry more stuff than other people usually carry in these types of bags. If you just had a clipboard and some lightweight items, I don't see why this would break down very quickly. If you're carrying a lot of stuff, it's going to eventually fail. Read more
