For anyone else who had tried, been frustrated, and given up on another brand of Extractor, THIS ONE WORKS perfectly. Connecting an LG OLED TV with HDMI Earc to an older Yamaha receiver with RCA cables, it was truly plug & play, with all the correct settings showing right away, zero latency. In a condo with some sensitive neighbors I didn't want a super loud system with a lot of subwoofer bass. And I didn't care to spend $550 on a new AVR just to improve my TV's audio. This setup to 2 older Klipsch bookshelf speakers is just right, very adjustable thru my receiver, and the volume control works with all remotes. I only wish I'd found this years ago for my first flat-screen TV. Read more

I have a tv with only eARC audio output and needed something to connect RCA on my Edifier bookshelf speakers - this did the job. Fortunately too, the tv has a USB adjacent to the hdmi port so it works to power the converter. Sound is great for my needs so unless anything fails or changes from my initial experience I’m giving it 5 stars Read more

Works good to go from Sony 75” Bravia tv to work with Mackie Profx mixer with two 15” Mackie powered speakers for karaoke use. Use HDMI Arc and blue USB outlets on tv to red and white rca jacks on mixer and turn off Sony soundbar while using mixer. Turn off mixer and turn on Sony soundbar when done using mixer. Read more

Works as advertised, buts unclear what codec it uses. It only converts the signals, so it has no extra functions. The cable is barely long enough for a 49 inch tv end to end. Read more

I recently purchased a Panasonic BluRay player that was not giving me enough audio volume through my Samsung TV. I have 2 unused Bose speakers that I wanted to try. The TV had 2 HDMI ports, one of which was eARC. The BluRay could connect to either. It was very easy to connect the eSynic eARC/ARC Audio Extractor-Plug & Play to the eARC on the Samsung TV. Didn't have to read directions, just plug & play like they said. I also didn't have to change any settings on the TV - sound immediately went to external speakers. The TV volume control doesn't work going through the eSynic, but I believe I read that in the write-up before purchasing, so no problem there - the speakers have a volume control. I couldn't be happier. Read more
