This is perfect for use in a bathtub. I was trying to find a tension rod shelving system for my boys' shower (has a bathtub), but they were all just too long. I saw this set and it was on sale, so I decided to test it out. Each of my boys has their own rack for their shower products and their own soap rack. The shelves themselves look very nice, the installation was simple and easy, and so far the adhesive has been strong enough. The color looks nice as well. My only observation is that the shelves do stick out quite a bit. I originally was going to install them on the back wall of the shower, but they stuck out too far into shower space. I ended up installing them on the far end of the shower, opposite of the shower head. I tested it out and it was far enough away so bars of soap wouldn't melt in that location, and the shelves wouldn't be soaked all the time. When I consider criteria for a shower caddy rack, I want them to look of high quality, and I want them to be functional, durable, and I want them to stay securely attached to the wall until I want them removed. So far, so great! I just installed them last night and they are perfect! I will wait the full recommended 24hrs for the adhesive to set before putting really heavy things in there but I did check to see if it could hold everything I need it to, at least and Yes! It does!
