The HC73QD Eugizmo has a 65W 20V@3.25A USB C charging port!!!
The 300W HC73QD Eugizmo multi-port Socket CAR Charger (unit) works well. This unit WILL supply all your power-hungry devices' needs. My notebook needs a power supply of 45W, 19V @ 2.65A to operate properly. This unit's maximum output for the USB C is 65 watts, 20V @ 3.25A. Most electrical devices take what they want & leave the rest. In other words, as long as your device's power supply output is at or slightly below the charger's operating parameters you will not hurt your device nor over tax the charger. I provided two pictures that shows the charging parameters (the back of the device & the User Specifications) of the USB A & USB C outputs. On the unit there are two sets of USB charging ports, one A & one C, on each of the body of the unit & the Cigarette lighter socket plug base, itself. I have yet to see a multi-port 12 volt unit that supports at least a minimum output of 65 watts, 20V @ 3.25A, output power supply that will provide for a notebook! Most of the 12 volt car chargers I have seen have the 65W output, HOWEVER, the voltage & amperage MAXIMIZES out at only 20V @ 1.75A! This means that if the voltage falls within your devices parameters & the amperage DOES NOT then you will either destroy your device's charging circuit & battery or the charger will overheat because your notebook is trying to draw more than 1.75A from the charger! Not good! These "smart" GaN chargers that can provide an output of MORE THAN 12V (from a car's 12 volt system) have other special circuitry in them called capacitors & can also communicate or "talk" between the device needing charged & (the charger) itself. This will cause the charging process to pause long enough so that the charger can build up enough power within its capacitors to accommodate devices that require more voltage than 12 volts to operate & charge, the ability to do so safely & properly. This is what is known as DC~DC conversion, or the boost in the charging process. The only way to obtain these higher voltage outputs from a 12 volt DC car system before was to go through an inverter. You would plug your AC adapter into the inverter & your device's AC power supply would provide the proper DC charging parameters. The only quirk I have is that the manufacturer should have made the max output of the device 65W, 20v @ 5A instead of maxing out the amperage at only 3.25A. Some devices need that higher amperage & I have yet to see one have that ability. This also comes with double sided mounting adhesive. Which is nice addition, but I had some high temp velcro which I opted to use instead because it was better suited for the car. I had used the other adhesive before & it just did not bode well for the car's environment purposes. Cheers! Read more
