I’m addicted to nugget ice (thanks to years of working in the hospital). This machine is amazing at making the ice I love quickly and all I have to do is add water when it tells me and run a cleaning cycle when it tells me. I have limited counter space and it fits so well. So easy to assemble and use. The price is perfect for this durable piece. The ice tastes amazing with no aftertaste of plastic or the cleaner used. Great ice maker for the price. Definitely a 1-2 person capacity, it’s not a large producer. I’ve nuggets are what we like and it does refill fairly quickly. We fill with only purified water and do a deep clean once per week. It is loud. We don’t notice it anymore tho. Didn’t want to spend a lot for something we weren’t sure if we’d use all the time, but we do use it everyday. I unplug and empty it if we’re going to be gone for long just in case. Read more

I bought this Ice maker I think in June or July. It worked great for 5 months. At which time the clean button started flashing but couldn't clean it because the self clean button didnt work anymore. Then 2 weeks ago it started making a terribly loud noise and it no longer works at all. I definately would not buy this item. For the price I paid for it, It should have lasted more then 7 months. Very quiet ice maker, I like the nugget size and this makes a bucket full in about an hour. It's attractive and sized right to set out on my beverage bar so we always have ice handy for drinks and our guests are amazed we have Sonic type of ice at home. We absolutely love this ice machine! It produces just enough ice for us to enjoy & it produces new ice quickly. About 3 weeks ago, the machine started making a louder noise & I contacted customer service. We had the machine about 3 months. They asked for information & pictures & offered some ideas to resolve the issue. I was skeptical about buying this unit but it has proved to be a great ice maker. I got it 5 months ago and it is still working well. I followed the directions on the set up to the letter, and the next day the ice started flowing. We ran it at least 8 hours a day for 7 or so days to build up extra ice. It works better than the ice maker in our very expensive refrigerator. Ice is soft, no taste and I can fill the ice maker in the refrigerator and it will dispense just fine. Love the capacity too. I can make enough ice in one day to last a week for 5 ice loving people. Yes there is sound when the ice drops but its not loud, not that I sleep in the kitchen, but it wouldn't keep me up if i did! Yes, the ice melts if you don't bag it up after the basket is full, but it's not a hassle and really, what ice doesn't melt? Great product! Great size. Low noise. Read more
