Almost perfection. They're advertised as lightweight but I don't find that to be so. The sole is very thick and doesn't bend much. I'm a size 7 and bought them in size 7-8 and they're wide and roomy which is good for me because I have wide feet that tend to swell and get even wider. They are definitely a loose fit. These slippers are so cushy and comfy! I'm normally in between slipper sizes (I wear size 6.5 shoes), but the 7-8 size in these fit me perfectly, especially with socks on.
