I've cooked exclusively with cast iron for over 40 years. I've always avoided stainless steel because I thought it was going to be problematic. Since I retired a few years ago, I have much more time to be adventurous so I decided to try a stainless steel frying pan. I decided to try my luck with a low cost pan so if things didn't work out yada yada yada. This pan is surprisingly easy to cook with and is very durable. The triple layer really responds to increases and decreases of heat very quickly. For those that keep giving bad reviews saying their food sticks, use some common sense and read some directions or watch some basic 'cooking with stainless steel' videos. Be patient and allow the pan to heat up on medium to medium high heat then put some oil in it. I use ghee, bacon grease or beef tallow and fry eggs in it every morning without anything sticking. Clean up is very simple too. Just hot water and a scrub brush is all that is needed to clean the pan. I've used this pan every morning since I bought it with no problems whatsoever and highly recommend it. Read more

I love this pan. It's clear lid gives view of cooking at all times. The release valve allows steam to escape during cook time. It's a bit hard to clean; due to food sticking to the bottom. I soak the inside a while, then clean with steel wool & other moderate scratch pads. It goes thru the dishwasher beautifully. -- I LOVE this pan. It's weight bespeaks fine quality. It's beautiful: enhancing a stovetop's appearance. It cooks very well. I recommend it's purchase. ---- This pan was ordered along with another stainless steel set, which is lighter in weight than this pan. That set complimented this heavy, more expensive skillet. This pan is amazing!! After pricing 10" pans with lids at my local Meijer and seeing they were $50 and up, I decided to take a chance on this one.
