The Good: - Top is form fitting, but falls low enough on the belly to not make you feel like your gut is going to hang out. It stays in place (didn't ride up on me). Very flattering. With a standard bra, your straps will be showing, but this is true of most tanks. I felt good in this! - Bottom is amazing. Flowy, fits as expected (I got a medium, fit like it was made for me). The bottoms are so casual / not tight at all. Perfect for lounging--AND THEY HAVE POCKETS. I love pockets. - Price - again, I received these in exchange for an honest review, but at $40 (at the time of this review), the price seems reasonable. I ordered this lounge set for a family member and it ended up being a really comfortable outfit. The material feels soft and lightweight, and it works well as something to wear around the house or even to sleep in. The pants are more oversized in style, but the elastic waist and drawstring help keep them in place. For sizing reference, she normally wears an XS or small. I ordered the small and it did run a bit large on her. She actually tried washing and drying it on higher heat to see if it would shrink slightly. The pants did come in a little after drying, while the tank stayed about the same. The tank has a slightly more fitted feel, but it still works well as a casual top for lounging or sleeping. I am pleasantly surprised by this set! I ordered this in a size 2XL (the biggest size offered) but I typically wear a women's 3X or 22. I am 5'8" with a bigger chest and most of my weight carried in my lower bellow. My measurements are 52 chest/46 waist/56 hips. I thought this fit me nicely, a slightly larger size would feel more loose and comfy, but it still fit comfortable enough to wear and not be restrictive. The waist band is elastic and stretches just fine, though that is probably the tightest part of the set. The legs of the pants still fit me like a wide leg and do not feel skin tight. The top is form fitting on me but in a way that I like. It isn't tight enough to be rolling up or anything like that. It isn't a long shirt but it's not a micro crop either, I feel like it is the perfect length to hit my waist but long enough that it doesn't feel like my chest will fall out if I lift my arms up and it doesn't show my bare midriff. The fabric overall is soft and very stretchy. It isn't too thin, I didn't find it to be see-through despite it being form-fitting. The bag has a sticker on it that specifically states to wash cold and hang dry only to avoid shrinking, which I already planned to do based on the fabric. The set is super cute and I feel like this would be a great comfy set to wear on an airplane in the summer, or to a casual beach outing, etc. Read more
Happily surprised by the quality of this set! The fabric is thick and substantial. It has a fabulous cotton feel but still has a nice stretch to it. I am only 5 feet tall so I hope the pants shrink up about an inch. The pants have a comfortable covered elastic waist and side pockets. The top has a great narrow shoulder cut to it which is very flattering. It feels great on and fits snugly due to the elastic construction of the fabric, think "lightweight compression" feel. I got the green stripe and it's bold and vibrant. Wrinkles fall out pretty easily once I hung it up so no need to iron it! The price was right and if it washes well, I may get another!
