Good for price

Great price very warm in temperatures above freezing. Decent insulation against the ground if you don’t have a pad to put under it. Read more

Compact and light

The rolled up size of the bag is pretty small. I put a dollar bill next to the bag for sizing difference. It’s pretty comfortable since we tested it at a sleep over so can’t tell the performance in cold weather. But I didn’t zip it all the way and was plenty warm. Read more

Honest Opinion!

It was very comfortable, went backpacking in 23° weather and it did keep my warm with layers. But the compression straps broke on the first trip. I I returned it. Read more

Great for Spring and Fall Camping.

I recently used the Flat Earth Performance Expedition Sleeping bag during a spring camping trip, and it exceeded my expectations. The 32 degree rating kept me comfortably warm on chilly nights, and the lightweight design made it easy to pack. The included compression sack helped save space in my backpack, and the bag's water-resistant fabric was a bonus during damp conditions. While it's not designed for extreme winter temperatures, it was perfect for the spring weather I encountered. For the price, it was well worth it's worth. Highly recommend for seasonal campers! Quality sleeping bag that can fit snug in two spots

The media could not be loaded. I am impressed by this sleeping bag. I'll start with the one downside that almost prevented me from ordering it. It is called flat earth. I am not a flat earther and I wouldn't want to give that impression, but oh well 🤷‍♀️ I honestly don't know why the sleeping bag is called that. But onto my impression so far. Initially, I was impressed by the compact and slick looking cover that buckles on. This is no bag that just has a couple of elastic bands that will slide off. No, this thing is secure. Once out of the bag, the fabric was smooth and cushy, and I immediately was drawn to the pillow area- how the brushed finish is cooling and soft, and also that it can be cinched closed. But then I realized you can cinch it around your head (helpful in the cold) but you can also cinch it closed at the neck/shoulders as well on the inside. Double warm. Nice! The zipper is standard and can be opened from the inside. The cinch for the case did come untied at the ends once, but placing the strings back through and tying them again solved the problem. This has not been tested in a very cold environment yet since it is summer, but it worked great for 6x° weather. The weight is medium so I am suspicious if it will hold up to freezing temperatures. When done using this, it rolls up easier than other sleeping bags I have. I have had many cheap sleeping bags over the years and this is much better quality. I have had a very expensive sleeping bag from our local REI outdoors store, and that one was softer and lighter, but it was a pain to keep in a travel bag and it did not hold up well to colder temps and did not have the cinching capabilities. I will try this out on a cold night, but I will bring a blanket with just in case. So far, it works really well, feels durable, and is my fave sleeping bag! As a regular tent camper, I'm glad I ordered this. Read more

Thick windproof like material, a little snug in a wider shoulder/big chest

It's a nice thick sleeping bag, but not for the wider shoulder/bigger chest person. The outside material is thicker than any of our other sleeping bags, it's like a thick windproof material, and feels very durable, the inside is soft and smooth. The top of the sleeping bag is rounded and as 5'5" I fit completely inside it. Read more

Quality sleeping bag

Light weight sleeping bag but also enough material to keep warm during the lower temperatures especially during warm winters or fall. The materials themselves are quality as well as I don’t see this fraying or being shredded from running it through the washer and from simple wear & tear The only downside is the name, not liking the flat earth label on the bag and the carrying case but can’t be helped. Tried it a few times already and haven’t encountered any issues. A good quality sleeping bag for camping and outdoors Read more
