I have refilled my eraser for seven years. I teach seven classes of elementary music everyday, and I use this eraser constantly. My students love it, and beg to use it. I love using it because it erases quickly and cleanly. I use the Expo spray with paper towels to clean my board once a week to clean the rest of the marker residue. It is so easy to just pull off a layer when there is too much residue on the eraser. Every year I order new refills. Read more

If you're a teacher, ever wondered why your fingernails grow nicely all summer, then become papery and peel once school starts? My teacher-friends and I have a theory that it's the whiteboard residue that eats away at them! Besides, my nails get black under the edges from erasing. I've used the Expo eraser for years now, and I swear, my fingernails aren't so bad! Speaking of peeling, I like to peel off one layer of these refills once each month - I believe there are 7 layers. (Dec and June are short months, so this lasts the school year. Don't use cleaner with these, though. Use the eraser to erase, then a rag and windex to clean the board. Yes, you heard me, an ammonia-based cleaner. If you read the instructions that come with whiteboards (most people peel them off and don't read them) it says "DON'T use white board cleaner, it ruins the finish. Use an ammonia-based cleaner" (like windex). Just do it after school so kids don't breathe it, eh? Read more

Best eraser! Love that it magnets to the board and that the pads can be peeled off to reveal a new clean one. And they’re refillable. Will continue to buy for my classroom. Read more

Our son uses a large melamine board to work out his Algebra problems. When I saw the eraser that this fits, I was really impressed, and bought one. Then I saw they have the refill as well. What a great idea! And you peel it back, one layer at a time, so it lasts longer. Imagine that! The shape is great for erasing a larger melamine board too. My reason for a 4 star rating, is because it costs nearly as much as just replacing the entire eraser itself, so it doesn't make it less expensive to really purchase this, over just replacing the whole eraser itself. Another reason for giving it 4 stars, is because we found that it can be tricky to pull off just the one layer. You have to get a hold of it just right, or you get more than one layer, or you get the one layer, and fray the end of the rest of the eraser. I am not sure how to correct this problem, but I feel confident those that make these would be able to come up with a fix for the problem. Read more

First, I ordered the Precision Point Whiteboard eraser, then added the refill to my order. I could not tell by the picture the how many pads there are. I was really relieved to find that the refill is identical to the original product. One replacement pad has 8 layers of pads that are peeled off as needed. It's a great idea. The original is great, too. I appreciate that the holder is magnetized and stays handy, right on my whiteboard. I expect it will take quite a while to go through all the eraser pads. Read more

I needed a refill pad for my white board eraser and this is the one. The Expo system is simply the best. Peel the lay away when it gets dirty and replace the pads when needed. No need to buy a new eraser. Read more
