These Express Women’s Editor Pants are nice black bootcut pants. However, they seem to run very small. I got a size 8 in these pants and the Express Skyscaper Jeans, and the jeans fit very comfortably but the pants feel tight around the waist. The pockets are also strangely shallow and stick out slightly. For reference, I have a 28" waist and 36" hips. They really seem more like a low rise, and my lower waist is more like a 30-31" which would be a size 10 in these. I am 5'5", and they are also very long on me. I'll only be able to wear heels with them unless I get them hemmed. I wish they fit me better since I like the style, but I think the size chart is a bit off on this one -- at least for my body type. These are really comfortable for workwear pants. They look nice and professional, but also stretch like more casual wear fabric. I wor them to a conference and got a lot of compliments on my outfit, on top of being comfortable all day. They sizing chart is accurate and they were the perfect fit. They are a little long. I’m 5’5 and have to wear a slight heeled shoe with them so they don’t drag on the ground. If you’re petite, you’ll probably need to have them tailored a bit. Read more

I got my first pair and loved them but them hem came undone after 1 wash. I returned those but the next pair I received has a hole on the inside of the knee where the seam ripped. Will be returning them. They are super comfortable and look awesome though, the fabric seems high quality it is just the stitching I have had trouble with. Read more

I have had so much trouble in general trying to find nice black trouser pants. The trend to be super flared looks bad on me, so do the overly skinny ones. This tapered, but relaxed leg and bootcut bottom looks nice on all body types in my opinion and has been so hard to find. I am excited that Express as a brand is still making these kind of styles. These are a great office pant for me, but also casual outings pant too. The price point I agree with because of the multi use I get out of these pants. The quality matches the price too. The design and material are well planned and the pants don't fade with washes. I am happy that Express is good with sizing, I can order true to my size, a 4, and have no issues with their 4's and Smalls. The length also fits like the product model for me, I am 5'10 and the pant hits my ankle in a relaxed way. Read more
