Works If You Need a Clear Backpack -- Not for Every Day Use
It's a very sad indictment on our society that transparent backpacks are even needed. The idea that you have to travel or attend sporting events (or even school!) with a backpack that can be easily inspected is indicative of our dangerous and somewhat paranoid society. Nevertheless, if you need a transparent backpack this is a fine and useful version. Completely transparent -- that's the most important part I guess -- this also combines that with plenty of room and lots of pockets. This is exactly akin to any school backpack with a main compartment, a secondary front compartment for smaller or easier to access items, and several other specialized pockets. All are closed by zippers. I am a little concerned about the durability of the zippers and the overall stitching, but then again, you aren't (hopefully) going to use this backpack everyday. An added PRO is that it comes with a four digit combination lock. Could be used to keep one of the zippers locked -- but keep in mind with a plastic backpack that shows all its contents, the lock is only going to be of limited protection. If you are showing something valuable, a thief could easily cut it out with scissors as the plastic is not going to resist cutting at all. So the lock may be somewhat of a deterrent, but could also be used for other applications. Read more
