I love this rolled ice cream maker! It’s super easy to use and actually works really well. I was happy to see that it came with instructions and they are very easy to follow and understand. I like the size because I can make more ice cream instead of having to do small batches. It freezes really well and stays cold to make plenty of rolls. Really happy with this rolled ice cream maker. It works well if you freeze the plate long enough and follow the directions. We are absolutely loving this rolled ice cream tray/maker! The quality is impressive...it feels sturdy and well-made, definitely built to last. It comes with two scrapers, which makes the rolling process super easy and fun to share. My kids are obsessed and can’t get enough of making their own ice cream at home. The media could not be loaded. I bought this about a month ago. I have made ice cream 20 days now. I started with a recipe I found online and I've had to evolve it into something that would freeze and roll. I finally got my first rolls last night and you'll see them in the video. Several times the ice cream mixture wouldn't freeze at all, other times it would freeze slightly, there were times it would freeze in clumps or freeze but not roll, and each time I froze the tray the exact same way according to the directions. By the way I have tried halfing the recipe, doesn't matter. If anyone out there is thinking that I had too much ice cream and that's why the top wouldn't freeze it just simply isn't true. Even when I scraped a thin layer to the bare side and the bottom would freeze the top would stay soft, even with a very thin layer. This item would be so much more successful if they would add some recipes that would freeze and roll with the product. But I noticed the last two days that one corner wasn't freezing at all, so mine is defective, and I went today to process a return, if possible, and the exchange window for my item ended yesterday. So I think it's time to make a review that this just simply does not work well. It does not work well with recipes you can find online. It does not work well with the 15 other recipes I've tried from home. When you finally get it to roll and the top is not Frozen, that's not proper ice cream, and kind of gross to eat. And when the item is defective there's no way to fix it or replace it. So overall I just would not recommend this product. Sorry. Rolled ice cream is my very favorite thing to eat in the world and I highly recommend TKs rolled ice cream if you're ever in Las Vegas, it's on Windmill. I had to move from that neighborhood and I haven't been able to find any good ice cream here so I thought I would try making my own at home. These Creameries use natural ingredients so I thought it wouldn't be that difficult but it's proving to be impossible for me with this product. Read more
These are very poor quality. But worse than the quality of the items was the condition of their containers. The boxes were smashed, and quite obviously from the condition of them previously opened taped back together, and returned by someone else. They appeared to be thrown in a box and then shipped to me when I ordered them. I have returned all three in the same box that they were shipped to me, but have only received my money back on one of the three items. I have as yet to see the credit to my credit card on the other two and cannot reach a human in the depths of Amazon. Read more
