I always try to keep reusable bags in the car. I saw this online and thought I'd give them a try. They're a little expensive, but so worth it! I have one in the back of my trunk now ALWAYS. They're great for groceries. The bottom is STIFF and FLAT and it stays that way! That's truly the best part of this is that it has structure when opened. The handles are strong. And I have never worried about the handles coming off the bag. it's just well made and strong. I have loaded this up with some heavy stuff. Milk and cans and bottles of stuff. Like way heavy. It handles all my tasks with no issues whatsoever. Opening it and closing it flat is a breeze. There's velcro along the bottom of each end and you just sort of shove over the metal rods and rub across the velcro so it stays upright. The metal rods act like a frame to keep this upright and open. When done, simply pull the velcro apart and it flattens out to take up no room at all. You can even do this with one hand. Just buy this. It is sturdy, folds flat easily, has a mesh pocket on each in. Inside have a sturdy u shaped (very sturdy, but lightweight) metal rod at each end. It has a Velcro flap that goes over the bottom of the U. Too lay the basket flat, all you do is pull up the flap in each side, the U lays flat and the basket is collapsed. It won’t collapse when you’re trying to use it. The straps where you pick it up have a nice ‘handle’ that matches the bag and there is a flap sewed into one of the handles with Velcro to go around the other handle. When you set the basket down, it stays upright and doesn’t flop over onto its contents. It’s very well made of good quality material and it holds a LOT...like a freakin’ laundry basket. I have now bought several of these for the wife. They are very nice quality and pretty sturdy compared to others we've tried. They make it very convenient for lugging things around. The metal frame is very nice, though it is susceptible to bending, it's great to have the bag stay open for packing. And in case it does get bent, it's easy to bend it back into place. Read more
This is a huge oversized tote bag that will haul lots of fluffy lightweight items to and from various places. Due to the nature of the design, you will not be able to carry singular heavy items as it will bend the cardboard piece on the bottom which is its only bottom support. However, it carries many larger lightweight items in style like towels, toys, snacks, clothing. The dog paw pattern is adorable for any dog lover. The colors are crisp and sharp. I have owned this bag and gently used it for 4 years with no fading or wear and tear. If you have rowdy kids or rowdy dogs in the house, this tote is not for you as it will buckle and bend the support bars when trampled or fallen onto. The outside pockets are helpful. The full length Velcro that keeps the end support bars in place is very helpful to keep it sturdy or as sturdy as this type of tote design can get. The hand straps are a nice long user friendly length and can velcro shut together for carrying and also release the hand straps for loading & unloading items. The material thickness is adequate for the weight it can carry. It is not cheap or thin. The fact that it can collapse into a small space for storage is an excellent feature. This bag is well made and large, perfect for when I need to take a lot of things to parties. I love that it has metal rods that push down inside the ends, to hold the sides of the bag up! Also love the color scheme and flowers. It was worth the price and my old one, which was similar was purchased for more and just replaced it with this new one. Read more
I like this. It's very large and holds a lot. It seems sturdy - no issues with the handles YET. The ONLY issue is that there is no stiff cardboard for anything on the bottom to make it flat. I think all good bags should have that. Read more
I ordered this tote to hold all my dogs supplies for a road trip we were taking to Florida! I have a lab and a golden and we were able to fit everything we needed for them in this bag.
