This is a gorgeous, thick, heavy-duty bag. It has thick, sturdy straps and is well-constructed. It also has a great water-resistant reinforced bottom. I put it to the test by carrying 12 cans of goods and groceries in it. It passed the test. The color is beautiful. This is such an elegant yet fun tote bag. The lavender colors along with the English lavender pictures makes for an extra-special way to carry your belongings. This bag is made well. The inside seems to be waterproof and the outside is water resistant so can be carried to the beach or to gym class with no regrets. Shopping, to work, on trips (I'm getting ready to go on a trip and I'm taking it with me packed in my luggage. It folds flat and I will have it ready on the other end for day trips to the casinos or picnics or shopping or whatever). I measured it and it is 14 3/16" wide x 12 1/16" tall with a 7 5/8" gusset.
