For anyone who has worn glasses for years, no doubt you’ve experienced one of those tiny little screws coming out that hold the arms onto the frame. My husband and I travel quite a bit and losing my glasses, whether to them actually being lost vs. having them fall apart, is a real concern. I once spent an entire day, while on a cruise, searching for a small glasses repair kit for a friend. They aren’t always easy to find! The necessary screwdriver for glasses repair is really really tiny! In most cases, when caught early, the screw can simply be tightened. Worse case scenario, the screw is lost. This little kit has screw-on caps over both a tiny phillips head and slotted screwdrivers, along with a hex driver molded into one end, but contains no extra screws, so best to keep the screws tightened so a screw is never lost. The tool comes on a chain and ring so it can be attached to a key ring. The current cost for this is $5.59, which I think is a bit steep for this little tool, but considering the cost of having eyeglasses to fall apart, it is a very worthwhile expense.
